I have used the Slipway on and off for years. The yard is a busy little yard and now has two restaurants open. This yard is run well and is a friendly place to haul out. The convenience is that it is right in the middle of the yachting action in the season with loads of bars and clubs to visit. Jolly harbour has become like a mortuary now with restaurants shut and boatyard prices sky high. I looked at north sound which now has a chandlery but it is too far away from night life. Slipway is cheap to dock at and the staff are very helpful and efficient. It is a great place to store a cruising yacht in the off season.
