NMC Speciality hospital. My first time experience at this hospital. The staff and service very helpful and cooperative. The facilities were good and choice of meals provided were neat, hygienic and tasty. I chose Vegetarian meals. Healthy and less oil.
Paediatric ward is neat and colourful. Only a particular cabinet is near the head of a bed which can hurt the head. Well maintained rooms.
    Thank you

Very poor appointment system! Came with 2 year old child and had to wait for more than one hour to see Dr. Mary. Reception staff kept on repeating to wait another 2 minutes, where I ended up waiting for so long. We came all the way from Khalifa City to see a very good dermatologist- Dr. Mary, but appointment system ruined the whole day for us, as we had other things to do that day too. Would I recommend the hospital itself, definitely no. But doctor that we met is amazing and very experienced. All NMC hospitals have poor appointment system, you always have to wait for a long time

I am an extremely satisfied patient not just with the admin staff but also with the nurses and doctors, who really showed great patience and care for me. I have visited both Dr. Joyce Zachariah and Dr. KN Prasad who have been patient, kind and exceptional in their work. Thank you NMC for your wonderful service. Keep up the good work.

If you are seeking a pulmologist go to NmC. Dr. Prasad is the best.

It was our bad luck that we went to NMC for delivery of first baby. We did not know much about procedures. Every thing was normal but they made it force c section Since two and half years we regret our decision to go to NMC. We shared our concerns at the time of discharge. Management promised to contact back. Till now no one contacted. Highly not recommend 😢😢

very horrible hospital, cannot be trusted at all because the doctors gives too much medicenes unnessarly when not needed, when a patient can get cured wit just a few medicenes the doctor give soo much just to make money from the insurance of the patient. and also patients have to go for a lot of tests even for smaller siknesses like feaver or common cold. this hospital is soo unthrustworthdy even smaller hospitals are much better than NMC. I suggest American Crecent Health Care Center, in Khalidya street Abu Dhabi to be the best alternative of this horrible horrible hospital.

I’ve been experiencing extreme hypothyroid symptoms but was told by Dr. Dinesh everything is fine and referred to a cardiologist and dermatologist When I asked for more testing from Dr. Asha, she agreed but only after I begged her. When I called back for results, she rudely responded “everything’s fine” and hung up. I went to another doctor at a different hospital and have been diagnosed with secondary hypothyroidism. The level of care at internal medicine and endocrinology in NMC is atrocious. Find another doctor.

. I had a very bad experience today. Went to see and ENT specialist and the ENT reception staff on 3rd floor kept us waiting for one and a half hour. After which they informed doctor is not coming. What is worst is the staff attitude, they had no sense of apology for wasting my time. Not even once did I hear sorry from them. On top of it they said u mention our name in the complaint form Which shows they have no fear of management action. Looks like mgt just throws the complaints in garbage. I wish I never have to go back to this hospital again.

Great Experience as it was my first time at NMC, I am not a big fan of hospitals and I had to do a health checkup as I was feeling a bit tired in the hot months of Summer! i read many bad reviews on NMC and their customer service but I had no many options with my insurance, so I went for it everything went smooth and all staff seemed to be knowing whatb they are doing, i did my checkup with Dr. George, great doctor, and then went to the lab for additional tests, then I called Dr. George in the afternoon next day for results, all was good, then I asked for my test results to be sent by email, it was done after my initial request in like 2 hours I am really happy with the whole experience , I do not wish to come back there anytime soon, but would not hesitate to go again if I have to!

Although the interior design is a little tacky and outdated, New Medical Center has some competent staff. The gynecologists are extremely well-versed in their discipline and can treat problem patients, such as myself.

Be wary of particular nurses, especially when it comes to needles -- some of them don't quite know what they're doing. I have had unnecessarily large needles stuck into my hand for no reason, resulting in some pretty nasty scarring.

Also, do not go to NMC when it's busy. The hospital staff are more prone to losing urine specimens at this time and you'll have to redo tests, which is irritating.

Worst hospital ever. Google wont let me post my review unless I give them a star, if I could give them a negative star I would dive them that. My son had a day surgery planned at 3 pm with the Ophthalmologist Dr. Sameena Anjum (who usually practices at NMC royalty hospital Khalifa city where we visited her for my sons eye condition) and we were asked to arrive at the reception at 2 by 3 different people calling from their hospital. We arrived in time and after some delay they were able to admit my son. It was already 3 by then. then started the waiting game. We sat in the room for nearly an hour and a half with occasional visits from nurse to do his vitals and stuff with no sign of doctor We also told the nurse that my son has runny nose and cold like symptoms and if it would be ok to perform the surgery. the nurse told us that she will talk to the doctor and inform us which never happened. Around 4:30 on inquiring from the nurse, the staff started lying about how the patient is supposed to arrive 2 - 3 hours before the surgery and that the surgery is planned for 4:30 and not 3 which was just a lie as their patients relations officer later confirmed that the surgery was planned for 3:20. they started blaming the people from other buildings on delays. The staff also told us that the doctor only came at 4:30 which was another lie as we ran into the doctor at 2:30 in the eye care tower. The staff told us there was already a surgery planned before my sons surgery and she is busy in OT. By then we decided to cancel his surgery as we had lost trust in the hospital, We told them we would like to talk to the supervisor or patients relations officer and was told that he/she will come only at 6. The staff kept running away when we mentioned that we would like to get refund and leave the hospital as we are not happy with how the things were moving. After about an hour and half around 6 in the evening their ward in charge named Ms. Vani showed up to tell us that we should understand that this is a hospital. Her attitude was worst out of all the staff apart from the doctor who did not show up the entire time. I understand that at hospital there could be emergencies and non emergency surgeries are some time delayed. But with no sign of doctor and no responsible person showing up and the nursing staff lying about stuff is extremely unprofessional. Worst experience ever with no respect of peoples time, money and emotional discomfort. All they care about is making money. Please stop practicing if you cannot even manage the timing. you are dealing with someone's precious life. Thankfully my sons condition was not an emergency and we were able to cancel his surgery in time to save him from an extremely unprofessional, un ethical hospital and medical staff.

Great and conscientious doctor, but even after 4 days of my reports being ready, no one called me from the hospital.
On calling , was told that the onus lies with the poor patient , who has to keep calling firstly to check if the reports are ready and then to get an appointment with the doctor, which is 2 - 3 days for a convenient time.

NMC, you seriously need to revisit your Patient follow up program.

Meanwhile , I will keep trying for an appointment with the doc, reports in hand.
