They gave me smoking room although they know that I have infant, and the baby cote was broken and so dirty, I asked for blanket to put in the baby cot they charged money, no sleeper in the room.. what else you need to know..!

Very dirty hotel, as you can see from the photos, the carpets in the corridors are dirty, the toilet carpet is dirty, the corridor’s roof is leaking water.

Also the staff members aren’t friendly at all.

When we reached to the hotel room, there was hair on the pillow, we asked them to replace it politely, the guy told us give it to me and use the other pillows.

Large rooms. Good food.
Bad room lighting, some lights were off, the internet was down because of faulty ethernet cable. The internet got fixed but the lighting is not.
I had some issues with the reception staff.

One of the best hotels at RAK with nicely cleaned, spacious rooms and the hotel is facing the creek so can go out for walk at evening!! Hotel restaurants were not that amazing though but you can find nice restaurants around

Very poor service. Staff doesn't have a clue how to treat a customer. Extremely ignorant and rude staff. The whole hotel is over all old and smelly rooms. Very old and dirty structure will never recommend anyone to visit. My worst ever experience in UAE hotels. I wish I could make and official complaint about the staff to the owner of this hotel or someone sensible enough who can handle complaints and resolve the issues.

One of the best priceed hotels you could find in RAK with a nice view pool on top and nice big size rooms , friendly and helpful stuff but they don't have covered parking plus the valet parkingis very small and stressfull (unskilled drivers park away don't go there ) ! Salut

[Edit] I changed my rating to 2 stars from 1, only because the employees are nice and friendly.

Can't say much about the facilities the hotel offers since I was discouraged to try any of them after the experience I had in the Suite we booked. For a 4 stars hotel, hygiene is a big issue. The water in the shower, and on the sink is weak. Everything was dirty when we arrived. Dust everywhere. The carpets are stained. Pieces of the bathroom ceiling fell. The light was so dim, we couldn't see what's inside our suitcases. When we went to bed, the covers were itchy and had holes in them.
Next day when we opened the microwave, it was a horror show and smelled horribly. The bath tub was covered with hair. The spot light above the bathroom door dripped water. The closet smelled weird.
The place urgently needs renovation.

PS: the internet connection is unstable and not everything is accessible online. Not because of the government ban. I can access those sites anywhere else in the UAE.

There is a humidity problem which made the bed in my room damp at night. It took a couple of days and some complaining for the staff to understand the problem, which they initially tried to address with a complimentary cake and fruit basket. But ultimately housekeeping took the trouble to work it out with a new duvet and sheets, and a thorough wiping down of the bathroom. Other things about the hotel are good: the breakfast buffet, view of the lagoon, a decent gym and pool, and minibus service to the beach. The staff are good-hearted.

Well-priced rooms and great hospitality. We were upgraded upon arrival so we were happy from the start. Clean rooms. Breakfast buffet was nice with a variety of options. The hotel is right opposite RAK corniche which has a good selection of mainly cafes, and some restaurants, as well as bike hire, jogging track, boat ride, kids inflatable slide and mini quad biking in the evenings. The large flag pole is not far and there is a close-by mall, Manar Mall, which is nice (plenty of shops, places to eat, Carrefour, Fun City, cinema.)
