I booked a room via HotelInfo and I received the confirmation but when I reached the hotel they couldn't find my reservation. So I had to call the customer service of HotelInfo to double check and it turned out that they haven't forwarded the confirmation to the hotel. The hotel has apologized, even though it was not their fault, and the receptionist Ms. Mara, with the help of her manager Ms. Bianca, arranged a room for me with a balcony and sea view at the same rate. It was a fantastic and rapid service. I highly recommend it.

The Hotel was okay but, I didn’t feel welcomed & we had one bathroom for 5 people and it wasn’t ideal for us as a family .. Pool & Beach were terrible very small and crowded .. I had to wait an extra 2 hours for my room to be ready.

Overall, 2/10 hotel and I won’t recommend it to any family.

The beach is nice, but it's not open sea so the water isn't really clear. They have a nice pool and kids area where people can bring their young ones. The rooms are nice with a great view (the ones facing the sea). They have restaurants and gift shops as well.

Excellent stay as a couple at the Kalidiya Palace Rayhaan. Immaculately clean hotel. The rooms are beautiful with very comfortable beds and great room service with free water everyday. The breakfast buffet was good too.
There is a short walk to a lovely shopping centre with a couple of eateries and the convenience of a Waitrose.

The staff were exceptional - very professional, yet warm and attentive. We will most certainly be returning to this hotel for all that it offers as well as the fabulous sunny weather.

We had a nice stay in this hotel. The pool is great and they have a small beach. The room was great (family room) with great views and a very comfortable balcony. The staff was very friendly and we had a great New Year party with a wonderful BBQ (and a very weird large screen with soccer on it). There is a shop in the adjacent hotel that has everything you need to make your own breakfast if it is not included (prices are crazy see below) and you do not want to stand in line at rush hour times. There were several things that were not so greatthis hotel has been discovered by package travelso it is very busy in the holiday season and is suffering from the cheap resort habits, long lines for buffets (we did not eat in the hotel once), lots of people reserving beds at the pool before breakfast but only arrive two hours later (they have a policy against this but do not enforce it). Unless you have young kids and do not mind getting to the pool before 10 AM you will in many cases not have a spot. Prices for breakfast are completely crazy, 35 EUR (or more) pp if you do not pre-book. The price of the room was also crazy but that was mainly because we booked really lateso that is our own mistake. All in all we will likely look for a place that does not suffer from mass tourism yet

Normal hotel with nice personnel. It is a dry hotel so do not book here if you are looking for a bar. You can hear next room conversation as building quality is not so good. They have a nice swimming pool and a strand of beach with views to a stripe of land, so not a good landscape.

Although this is a nice hotel it is not a 5 star hotel (3/4 star max).
Room was very big, clean and comfortable. The hotel was very busy with a lot of families, the breakfast buffet was nice however it was served in a very small restaurant and was extremely busy (felt like herding cattle).

The beach was very small and pool area extremely busy. Staff were excellent and not letting people reserve loungers though.

I would probably choose a different hotel next time.

Ok, I am told this is a 5 star rated hotel and resort. But to start with they don't serve alcohol, yes its alcohol free hotel. So in my view it's a big NO. Still I found many Russian and Eastern European guests staying there, but majority of them were above the age of 50. The property is big and nice. They have a nice all day Buffet restaurant 'Horizon', good food there , value for money. They have a big pool and beach access and its good.

We spent here one week in September, 2017. This is one of the best hotels where we have been during the past years. Staff works with an unbelievable professionalism and care. Rooms are perfectly equipped and have beautiful view. Our room had view to the palace of Abu Dhabi's Emir and the fountain at the entrance of it. Catering (we had breakfast only) is awesome. Perfect quality and extremely wide variety of food. At the pool, there are many sunbeds, and staff is always there for you, in order for you to have relaxation. Sea is around 34-36 degrees warm. Pool is 31 degrees (it is cooled). Free wifi is available in the hotel and even in the pool and beach area. This hotel became one of our favourites, I'm sure that we will go back here once again :)

The hotel location is very nice. It has many facilities for the kids which makes it good for families. During Eid time it was a little over crowded and many kids running and making noises at night.
We asked for two connected rooms we got two on same floor but separated by more than 20 rooms!
The toilet doesn't have normal washing pipe near the wc which is strange.
Pool was big and nice and interesting.

Excellent service, staff and food, the location is heavenly and complete with every comfort you can wish for, its great for families, singles or couples.

The pool is vast and beach is pristine, plenty of water sports and life guards are diligent to ensure your safety.

Rooms are spotless and house keeping staff come frequently to ensure you have all your needs such as coffee, tea, milk and toilet paper will stocked.

Pros - really helpful and supportive staff. The hotel has its own private beach and great swimming pools. Lobby and internal public areas are quite stunning. Well located.
Cons - rooms are a bit tired. Valet parking car be a bit slow sometimes.
Overall - for the money we paid for our 2 bedroom suite, good value for money. The suite being a bit tired, didn’t have a wow factor but was practical and together with the rest of the hotel amenities, we are quite happy and would stay here again.
Definitely recommend to others especially for families on holiday.
The hotel is 'dry' as in serves no alcohol. For us, that wasn't an issue. (duty free from airport in our luggage If you know what we mean!)
Also, no pork / bacon / ham served. But plenty of alternatives so we didn't feel anything was missed.
All in all, good hotel. :-)

One of the best hotels to stay at holidays.
The hotel is great, clean and in a good style. The hotel got a nice facilities like a wide pool, and nice private beach.
The staff is amazing and very friendly.

This place is suitable for couples, friends and families.
The breakfast is good. The sea view rooms are the best.

It is a great hotel , breakfast was awesome but unfortunately I am really upset about the staff what working at the restaurant. Because I am Australian born Chinese , I was treated very differently compare to other European !! I was on the line with my son to get the restaurant this morning and the staff served the other European couple behind me , like I am invisible! I am horrified and felt disrespected. Stay here for a week now , I noticed the different treatment I am getting , no coffee was serve I asked 3 times! i feel is ok considering it is busy time, however what happen today is unacceptable!!!
