Very good fitness centre with separate area for men and women. Lots of group classes to choose from. The equipment are well maintained and very good quality. Staff are very friendly and motivating. The changing areas and bathrooms are spotless. The only thing lacking in this branch is a swimming pool, which would have been great. Hope to see one in the future.

A very good branch in a good location in Dubai serves the area of Albarsha , Albarsha Heights (Tecom).
The branch is medium size , has a good turf area as well as enough nunber of cardio machines.

The attitude and integrity of the staff is absolutely horrendous. I called to book a trial session and when I rocked up to workout, was told no booking had been made and I had to pay the 100dhr for the session. I explained how I had called and been told I could trial the gym before deciding on a membership.

After 20 mins of explaining the situation, and serious attitude from the staff member I was begrudgingly allowed in. I was then given a “Free Guest Pass” by a family member, so I called the gym to confirm that even though I had once already trialled the gym could I utilise the guest pass for another session and the woman on the phone told me it was “no problem”.

Upon arriving, I was refused entry and after the manager had checked with all her staff members, no body owned up to answering my call and I was accused of lying and trying to “cheat” the system.

However, I showed the call log in my phone, the time stamp that went with it and the duration of the call and explained that the only reason I’m at the gym was because I was told it was ok to use the pass. After some serious attitude, accusations, horrible customer service and 25mins, I was allowed in.

The integrity and attitude of the staff is beyond horrendous. The energy of the staff disgusting and come across as if they don’t want to be there and are in no inclined to be helpful.

The “Platinum” gym is extremely disorganised, dated and messy.
There are towels and tissue paper sprawled all over the gym, the equipment smells and is rusted beyond use, to be point it comes off in your hands. For the sake of potentially making a couple of women in the gym uncomfortable I didn’t photograph the pile of towels against the window and corner of the room. There are even pens and stationary on the floor in the gym space that have fallen off the desk as I watched a gentleman kick a pen into the weights section. The change room stinks of feet and I watched as one staff member picked up a towel off the chest press machine, fold it and put it back on the “clean” pile of towels.

I don’t understand how this gym is still operating.

    Pros

    Well equipped
    Nice staff

    Cons

Parking is a challenge, paid parking might be available, but limited number of cars
Location is not easily spotted, the reason being is its on a floor not the street level, so unless you really know where are you going, you could easily miss it, although I was following Google navigation, and I drove by the building twice before I decides to park and continue on foot

One of the smaller Fitness First gyms, but has all the main equipment. Never too crowded like the others.
