I think the service quality has definitely improved from what it used to be before (the comments from year ago) and hopefully it will keep improving because there is a lot of room for that for sure.
The staff is more polite and friendly now but they still don't stick to the appointment timings. You might get an appointment at 10:00 and will eventually be serviced only at 12:00. That's all because the staff at the counters keeps disappearing behind the partition for up to 20 mins!, accepting queue jumpers that probably have a direct connection to the consul general or someone else at the consulate. Also, a lot of times you see people handing their papers through the back door all of this slows down handling and processing of regular applications.
Last time I applied for my passport renewal (Viktor was handling my application), waited for 3 months, kept following up over the phone and they kept saying that it's being processed but when I came to the consulate it turned out that they just forgot to submit my papers!!! Hopefully that doesn't happen anymore.response / report this review -

I am really surprised seeing negative comments right here. My experience with staff is absolutely great! Staff are being very professional, polite, helpful and smiling all the times I visited (visited more than 10 times). Nikolay and Ivan are very helpful and always ready to help with any concerns. Either by phone or face to face situations. Proud to be Russian and seeing this kind of services in consulate 🇷🇺😍🇷🇺.

The worst consulate ever. Never answering phone calls. They reply to emails just pasting links i can find myself. No chance to talk to anyone for any issue. Blame on them It is the typical comunist rubber wall

I had very bad experience with this consulate & I Went to submit for a tourism visa with all needed documents but unfortunately the employee over there had treated me so badly and even didn't explain what is still missing in my documents !!!!
by the way, I have the following: 5 years multiple entry Schengen, 5 years multiple entry to US, 3 years to UK + many other types of visa
I do believe the working staff need a lot of training to know how to deal professionally with customers
