Worst company ever, I have been waiting for my deposit since July and still have not received it. They don’t respond to your calls or emails. They were so nice and friendly when I rented the car but to get my money back it’s a nightmare, it’s like I am begging them to give me my rights. Although they promised me that I would get my money back after I raised my concern about the reviews and they lied. I would not recommend for anyone to rent from these people as they will never give you your money back. It’s been 7 months and I’m waiting.
6Update: 15 Jan- 6months later and after I got consumer affairs involved, I finally got my money back. I would definitely not recommend this company

Worst Car Rental Service Ever!!!

(Not Returning the Deposit yet!)

I Had rented a car for over 6 months since the beginning of this year and they always take the money from your credit card way ahead of time. like even 60 days ahead of your billing cycle will start. (I have proofs emails) also i had to file a case through the Bank to get the money back from Carlease. Every month the issue kept recurring so I cancelled my Credit Card, just because of Car Lease.

Very Bad Customer Service, worst treatment, they also don't hesitate to yell at you when you ask for explanation for excess or wrong billing.

and if there is a traffic violation penalty from RTA and Police, they charge you almost double the amount, they don't let you pay the penalty directly. but in my case i did not agree for that and after multiple argument, i paid the penalties directly to RTA / Police and did not pay them any extra.

and the best part is that i have already returned the Car in an excellent condition. they confirmed that they have my deposit that they will refund me. but even after multiple reminder emails and calls, they just don't care. i am attaching a picture of email that i have sent them.

Never ever take car from these guys they will talk all sweet at beginning and they won't even pick up call later my deposit return took more than 1 month after returning car absolutely bad service.. I am never going to them again !

WORST CAR COMPANY EVER!!!! They never answer the EMERGENCY phone!!! They NEVER call back!! I have lots of friends who have trouble getting the deposit back

STAY AWAY!! even 1 star is too much for this amateur, tricky, liar company. I was a lease customer, they replaced my car by lying. They collected my first car for RTA renewal, it was supposed to be returned within a day. When I called them they said they're selling this car, already on sale, i can keep the old, dirty, smelly replacement car as permanent car. I decided to cancel my contract but i had to wait for hours when returning the car, because they lost replacement car's papers. All employees are so rude, ignorant, and don't know what they're doing, they don't know how to communicate. Now it's been 3 months, still they didn't release my deposit even though all bills and early termination penalty fee has been paid. They don't even reply my emails and calls. There are well known car rental companies that offers brand new cars with the same price of car lease, just stay away from them.

Terrible terrible terrible customer service! I got an email asking about the service in which I replied but it took them 3 more emails to reply to me! I’m always told someone will call back no body ever does. Payment was taken from the wrong card several times! Iv been asking to change my car for 5 months no body seems to want to help. I’m told someone will call back!!

*FINAL UPDATE after 3 months I have finally been credited with my outstanding monies from Carlease. Upgrading to 2 stars, as I cannot deny them the good service whilst I was a customer. However, deposit tracking team needs to improve as it invalidates all the positive, wouldn't use again*

I have used Carlease cars constantly for 1 year. Cars, rates and customer service generally really good. However, it has now been over 2 months since I returned the car and even with constant chasing I still haven't received a refund. They have ignored many of my emails and calls.
UPDATE 23/11/17 I'm still awaiting my 4 figure refund, absolutely terrible way to be treated by a company I trusted and respected

UPDATE 13/12/17 still awaiting the refund of my deposit and outstanding rental balance.

MORE THAN ONE MONTH after I returned the car in perfect conditions, and I STILL haven't got my deposit back!!!
They promise and promise, but they keep the money without explanation.
Don't dear to contact me. I just called you, as yesterday, the day before, and the day before. And you always say: tomorrow. And it's NOT TRUE.

Watch out, read carefully all the contract, though it's not fair. You'll have to return the car on time and fast, but they will not give you the money back so fast. It will take you many days. Just read other reviews about it. I'm really annoyed about that.

I want my money back. They used my Spanish visa card when I had specifically told them I would make a transfer every month (visa card was just for the deposit). Paying with a foreign visa card is obviously more expensive to me because of international commissions (but they didn't care).
It's taken them ages to give my deposit back.
They also made a "mistake" and charged me twice. Again, I haven't seen my money back, and it's been a month after. Nov 2017. They just keep on saying, write an email, but it's useless.
I'm worried because I've read other reviews and it seems it's a typical procedure. I should have read these reviews before.

Don't trust them. Low quality and old cars, no specifications or extras in the cars. Just plain cars. You pay a lot for nothing. I called them, they promised me a car and then they didn't even have it! They offered a replacing model (very old) while they got the model I asked for. The new car never came. They charged me twice for the rental car (by mistake) and asked me to claim the money back. This money, a month later, has not came yet into my pocket back.

Customer Service offered by Jett was five star. Unfortunately two months down the line I still haven't received my deposit back. I had to chase them if they would be so kind to return my deposit. At first I was asked to chase the 3rd party company who handles their deposits. Sorry, that's a bad move in my books. After some convincing they agreed to chase them on my behalf. A few hours later I received an email asking for my bank account details - which I provided. Since then no reply. If the deposit would have been received back I would have given 5 stars. I do not find it fair when people gamble with my (and others peoples) money hoping that they will forget about it. Very sleazy wouldn't use them again because of this.

UPDATE: refund has been received, changing from 1 star to 3 stars. Shame about this, otherwise would had been a good service. Room for improvement ;)

Good service and good price, but make sure you double check your car before pickup with a fine tooth come and make sure it is detailed in the Pre checklist report as you might be blamed for pre-existing damage .

I've hired a car through several companies in Dubai, but none have been as efficient, friendly and reliable as Carlease.ae. Even over Eid, when offices were closed, the team contacted me and were flexible and accommodating.

The car was clean and in great condition (and did NOT smell of cigarette smoke, which is unfortunately not the case with several other companies I've used).

A big 'thank you' to Jett in the Al Quoz branch for his great service.

I've been renting from here for several months now and my experience has been incredibly pleasant all around. Customer service is excellent, very professional and easy going staff, smooth rental process, good cars, and best price that I know of (and I've asked around and compared plenty)! Jett at the Al Quoz branch is so attentive and friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
