The service you get from AGS will drastically deteriorate as soon as you pay the invoice.
The eagerness to communicate and follow up immediately disappears after you pay and they lock you in.
Packing: Generally was ok but I realized many boxes were mostly empty and filled with packing paper that could have been used to ship some of the items left behind. I guess this made it easier to pack!
Only beds would be reassembled at destination. Rest of items would need additional charges for handy man to install. All IKEA and similar items would not be reassembled without additional charges. I had to junk desks and bookshelves after delivery as they were not assembled and left in the house with missing pieces. Be ready to do the same with them.
You will note they would hand you a booklet of terms and conditions to read and sign. They basically use it to protect themselves from you after the move is complete. The conditions are ridiculous.
They charge you for a premium service, but you get below average performance. My package arrived after 3 months due to their selection of the cheapest available route. It’s like you pay for a direct flight but you get on multiple connections flight! Chinese New Year was a surprise to them!!
I don’t know first hand how they compare to others, but comparing notes with others who paid similar rates, AGS does not compare well.

We used their service to move from Dubai to Georgia in Summer 2020. So it was the worst experience for us. So if you use their services I advise you to stay with them when they go to pack your boxes to avoid any disappearance of your personal belongings. More than ever they are absent when you need to make complaints.
Pray not to have any disappointments during your move because you will be alone in front of your problems.
Regarding their insurance, know that they will do everything not to reimburse you. Our car arrived scratched and the new battery was dead, because they did not do necessary to transport the car correctly. And they call themselves professionals?!! It's a big question!!! Won't recommend this company to anyone!!!response / report this review -

We had used AGS some years ago to move from Dubai to Toronto. I spent almost 3 years following up with AGS regarding paying for items that were damaged during shipping. I had paid insurance premium on the valuable items based on valuations provided by me - no one from AGS asked me to provide receipts etc to back up the valuations. At that time AGS was more than happy to apply a percentage insurance premium and charge me for the same. However, when I made a claim against items that had been damaged during shipping (verified by AGS' agent in Canada) I was given the run around. My claim process took more than 2 years and yet my claim was not honoured. I even filed an official complaint with the Dubai authorities who told me to approach the DMCC authorities (AGS is a DMCC registered company). Needless to say, I NEVER received any compensation nor did AGS intervene or offer a solution. Totally unprofessional bunch of liars. Pay extra but use a reputed firm, these guys are crooks.
