I am highly disappointed in the manner of how situations are dealt with, in the way the store is kept that they do not sort out their stock and keep non sale items off of the sale items shelves, which leads to false advertising. I am very disappointed in how they treat their customers and the attitude of their staff towards their customers as well as the slow response rate, non-acknowledgement of the customers and no care in the world for anyone but themselves.
I was on trip to a wedding about 5 hours drive which turned into a nightmare 8 hours trip due to false advertising and wrongfully stocked shelves of Woolworth's Pavilion where I decided to stop en route to buy a pair of pumps for the wedding. My poor dog and partner had to wait in the hot car to drive another 4/5 hours to the wedding. I eventually chose 2 size 6 pumps, one grey and one black how I landed up with the desired black pair for the wedding being a size 5 is still a mystery ! but it left me highly disappointed and frustrated on my sister in law to be's wedding day.
On our way back from the wedding I wanted to rectify the shoe size problem at least for future use and we journeyed past Pavilion again, which is a longer route than the original route as a matter of fact. Due to no clear signs I ended up standing in 3 different lines, for a total of 1 and a half hours only to finally get at the Return/exchange desk and find out that the 2 cashiers talking a non-understandable language in front of me for 10 minutes wants to tell me that the shoes look used. Even after I show them the grey size 6 pair I bought at thee exact same time--- which I have been wearing the last 2 days as a comparison of what used shoes looks like. I would not recommend Woolworth's Pavilion to anyone, it has transpired into a circus show. >>>Below are the Used grey shoes size 6 and the black size 5 I wanted to exchange for a size 6! Last week Sunday I went to Pavilion Mall and the manager was very rude and very racist. She associates African people with fraud.Another white lady was assisted yet I was told about Woolworths policy that exists only in Pavilion mall and applicable only to African people. Strangely enough I have never experienced such treatment in Joburg. I closed my account on that day.

Woolworths in Pavilion is expansive and airy to shop in. Although items may be priced higher, some are certainly worth it - especially when it comes to food.
Their café serves freshly-made drinks and dishes and also has a very nice ambience with good service for sitting in. Furthermore, in their market area, their bakery has a good selection of food that accommodates most diets.response / report this review -

Amazing coffee! Good spot for those husbands who don't feel like shopping to sit while the wife does her thing. Great food, but pricey on a Sunday lunch.
