I am in love with Hermanus especially because of Windsor hotel. Their staff is super cooperative and all the basic facilities are provided. The view is amazing with a rocky coastline few meters away. Just go for it.

Immaculate view over Walker Bay and most amazing sunrise over the ocean early mornings. The small bay in front of the hotel is a hotspot for dolphins early mornings to find fish along the shallow waters. The Bistro Restaurant is 100m down the road for a tasty lunch

We stayed in the self catering unit. It was clean and comfortable and we felt like home away from home

Small rooms, but lovely. The cleaning staff a bit noisy in the passages. Loved the breakfast buffet, and it's very close to lots of tourist attractions and restaurants.

Very old and very pricey. The view is STUNNING. But that is really all we can say about this hotel.

This hotel is good if you get a sea facing room. You might have to carry luggage up two flights of stairs as there are no lifts. Breakfast is great! Looking forward to see the new revamped rooms!

The photo that comes up on the google site does it no justice. The best location in Hermanus. They are renovating but ground floor has no net curtains so have to live in darkness if don't want to provide a show for passersby. Views spectacular and close to everything. Within walking distance and easy parking. Just be sure when you book that floor 1 means ground floor and not first floor as rooms close to pavement and pretty noisy.

After two nights I asked for an extension night. It was agreed and checked for Rand 650. Next morning they insisted on Rand 1'300 without any explanation. However, he even confirmed having offered 'the wrong' price. Hence, this is called cheating!
Undergoing reconstruction leads to heavy smell nuisance (thinner).
