I stayed at this altogether wonderful place for 3 nights. Staff, rangers, accommodation and location were all excellent. The game drives were very informative and relaxed, sometimes they where exciting, especially at a very nice leopard sighting. The only two problems i saw were the quality of the food (sometimes cold and not really good) and the organization of the meals. Single travelers like me were seated on single tables, which is not very communicative, if you are a little bit shy. I know other places, where guests are seated together on larger tables, which leads quickly to very interesting conversations.

Umkumbe was incredible.. they found a leopard that we had searched for a week in Kruger to find. The guides have so much knowledge & they are all accommodating. I would return there without doubt!

What a wonderful way to experience the beauty of the wild life South Africa has to offer. We spent only two nights but saw the big four in one afternoon safari drive! The most fantastic time we have ever had, tasty and abundant food, great atmosphere and the most informative and experienced Ranges. We had some amazing sightings and close encounters with all of the big five, yet feeling safe at all times. We met some great people and even got to meet the owners of the Lodge. A must see and do experience whilst in South Africa, you will not regret it
