Great lodge located in the heart of Kruger. Staff is so accommodating to individual guests. Great safari rides each morning and afternoon, utilizing a network of nearby lodge guides to find the elusive animals for all to see. Delicious food with ample variety for all tastes. Chef was happy to accommodate special requests for children. In between game rides, the main house provides incredible view of a watering hole with various wild visitors throughout the day. A birder's dream.

I really can't express how amazing this place is!!! We only stayed 3 nights and managed to see all of the BIG 6 - FEMALE AND MALE LIONS, WATER BUFFALO, CHEETAHS, LEOPARDS, RHINO, ELEPHANTS + PLUS GIRAFFES, IMPALAS, ZEBRAS. What an experience. Our guides were EDDIE and VICTOR and both were next level amazing. I cannot recommend Imbali enough. They cater for all dietary requirements and their watering hole across from the lodge's restaurant allows you to watch the animals come and go, night and day 👌👌👌

Imbali exceeded all of our expectations. The room was stunning and in excellent repair, the food was glorious and they feed us continuously. The dining room team was delightful. Our guide Wes and our excursions were better than anything we had imagined. Thanks Imbali!

Our safari guide, Bradley, was absolutely amazing. He was practically able to track any animal we wanted to see. The food was unbelievable! Tea and coffee 2+ times a day. Breakfast is buffet style. Lunch is about 50% the same each day. Dinner was different and always fantastic. Would definitely recommend and go back.

Perfect location for Kruger. Food was great and our room overlooked river bed where we saw elephant, boks and baboon.

Excellent accommodation and great staff!
This is a luxurious lodge in the Kruger National Park. Each villa has it's own deck and plunge pool.
The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone took time to explain different facets of the park, animals and the lodge itself.
The safari rides were awesome. 2 safari rides a day. The guides are experienced and well-versed with the terrain. Within 2 days, we were able to view the big 5. The guide went off-road when he spotted cheetahs and leopards.response / report this review -

Not worth the money we paid. We arrived at 18:00, with no one in sight. Eventually found a staff member in the kitchen who helped us to find the manager to check in. The bedroom units is nice, but in need of some attention. The swimming towels had holes in. There was no fridge in the room. Food was ok. On our last night we had the same meal as when we came.
