  Probably one of the best weekends away in the North Coast area to date. Umkhumbi lodge is a hidden gem with extremely friendly & helpful staff, clean and super comfortable rooms with a lounge and bar that has views to die for! Not to mention the trails and animals on the property itself!
  
  Absolutely loved staying at Umkhumbi and would highly recommend it to everyone.
  
  PS. The food was absolutely delicious. From hating Potjie to being a solid fan Thanks!

  We were at Umkhumbi Lodge from 11-19th May 2015. We would like to thank Anton, Emma & Carly for a unforgetable experience. The most comfortable beds ever, lovely clean environment, stunning views & sunsets from the bar deck,great food, friendly, accommodating staff - no lack in professionalism amidst a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Just the ticket for holiday of a lifetime.

  From the moment you get there you feel like a friend not just a guest.
  
  My average evening starts off watching the sunset from the Lappa with colours you just don't see where I am from in the UK. After the sun has gone there is little if any light pollution and the stars are so bright that it is like being in a planetarium with them projected on the ceiling.
  
  I have been to Umkhumbi Lodge five times now, and am never disappointed.
