Unnecessary use of vehicle sirens within the compound. Staff insist on hooting directly outside the gate to inform the guard that they are waiting. (even though there is a "no hooting" sign on the gate)

Umhlanga's very own fire station. Aside from the obvious the fire department are trained to handle just about any emergency. They also attend vehicle accidents and have the jaws of life which when needed are used in vehicle extraction and rescue.
