how unhelpful. I can't believe a place that is supposed to care for abandoned animals can be so utterly clueless about wait for it. about ANIMALS! I called for assistance and one would think I sent them a high school history test instead of asking for advice on looking after tiny kittens. I was left with the impression that they really just don't care about learning anything about doing the jobs they are paid to do. what a shame for the public who spend so much money in donations and what a tragedy for animals who are forced to live in man made built up areas inhabited by men who could care less about them. No wonder the SPCA has such a bad name. it's not entirely because of government fraud it is the people "working" there.

Lovely place, well looked after, the premises are clean & neat.
Staff very professional & orderly.
Their range of dogs available for adoption are excellent & in good shape.

Although having to go there to have our seriously ill and old dog euthanized, we can only commend the service and friendliness of the staff, from the security guard at the gate, the receptionists and the vet. This lady was very sympathetic, clearly explained what the procedure entails and gave us the space and time to say our goodbyes to our beloved pet. She handled our dog with the utmost care and afforded us the opportunity to hold her until her last breath. Well done Tshwane SPCA!

Adopted both our puppies from here now. Kennels were clean. Such friendly driven staff. So willing to help. Trying their best to run things with such a small budget. Doenst help the lotto dropped their funding!!!

Amazing service, great veterinary care at very affordable prices.
They offer a vet service for all walk ins. Professional service by qualified vets who gave your pets interest at heart.

Spent an entire afternoon trying to get a hold of these people. I might give a better rating once I finally get through to them, but a weak impression of an organisation is formed when clients, volunteers and donors cannot reach them. The website is also not 100% clear on the financial aspects and process of adoption. I was planning on adopting a pet and wanted to explore donation needs, but I now doubt whether I wish to correspond with an organisation which treats prospective clients thusly.
