Not recommended at all. Room was dirty, smelled of wet dog. Bathroom was dirty, extractor fan sounded like it was going to explode any time. Prices agreed on before hand changed the next day when I had to pay. Owner just sits outside and smokes the whole time and seems irritated when disturbed. Stay away

The guesthouse was lovely! But the mattress in our room (the Cabernet room) had collapsed in the upper middle and was barely usable.
The staff said they had just noticed when cleaning the room and said they will replace it, but did not offer us a new room for the second night.
When the guesthouse comments on this review that they have replaced the mattress I will update the rating to a 5 :).response / report this review -

Terrible place, aircons dont work like they should, hot as hell in the room, feels dirty when you walk in. We left after checking in. Then the management lies to the booking agent saying everything was fine, but i caught them out and getting my full refund. Really disappointing.

It's a quiet place with excellent staff and beautiful comfortable rooms! I also loved the history imbedded into the place!
