  Spent 2 awesome days here. The place is beautiful. Unit was comfy but basic. The fishing is where treefern shines. The waters are clear, there are 13 dams which are stocked with 1 to 2 kg trout. Reeds and the grass is maintained well so casting is easy. Floating tubing is allowed for any dam you can get into. Owners words. Will be coming back for a longer visit with out a doubt.

  Relaxing, trail running ,mountain bike , great views, tranquil and nice indoor and outdoor fire which adds to the ambiance. And don't forget the fly fishing. Plenty of dams to choose from.

  Weekend was cold with a bit of sunshine about the road to treeferns is in a poor state drive carefully accommodation was rustic clean and serviced fishing was tough as the fish where on the spawning stage and the waters where crystal clear we could watch the fish moving and chasing each other sadly only one bite on a blue dunn number 20 hook and that one got away all and all great weekend the people at treeferns go all out to help

  Well appointed fisherman's cottages with well stocked dams. Fish are spawning but managed to catch 2 rainbow trout. Will be back for a longer stay.
