Hidden away amongst a quiet neighborhood this boutique hotel makes you feel right at home, small and cosy. Though being small does not take away from the contemporary feel the hotel provides. Spacious, warm and modern, my three words to describe the rooms. As you walk in you feel the warmth of the fire place and the smell of delectable food being brought out from the kitchen.
The customer service by the Manager, Peter, and the wonderful staff was outstanding. In addition our room, the cleaning staff and the breakfasts meals were tops.
Absolutely fantastic place. Amazing service, extremely knowledgeable of the area.
Outstanding place. Friendly staff. Beautiful setting. Lovely breakfasts, cooked, cereals and wonderful fruits.
Amazing view, amazing people, top top !!
I visited Cape Town just for a long-weekend and stayed here on the recommendation of a friend. The hotel is exceptional - the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was fantastic; large and bright. Breakfast was delicious (although I confess I had "nippy eggs" every morning which was a treat! Excellent Wifi was available throughout, as well as an honesty bar. At night, it was great to go onto the roof terrace and watch the stars. What cannot be forgotten is where the hotel is, very close to the bottom of Table Mountain. It took me only 45 minutes to walk / hike up the cable car, which for me was a highlight. The hotel is also in really easy reach of the centre of town - basically a straight-forward walk down hill for about 10-15mins.
All in all, I'd highly recommend staying there.

5 star in every way. Fabulous historic building.
This hotel consists of a very cozy villa with a beautiful rooftop view of Table Mountain and Lion's Head. The room was nice, it could've been a little quieter (in particular one nearby dog that really enjoys barking and whining every morning). This rooftop is a nice place to read and chill instead of just relaxing inside the rooms. Very nice complimentary breakfasts here, particularly the Eggs Benedict (make sure to give yourself 30-45 minutes for breakfast, if you have plans right after). Location-wise, it's pretty close to a bunch of quality restaurants, we never had far taxi rides.
