What an amazing place! Hospitality is 5 star, the food is so Devine! They have a beach area with beach parties every Saturday! Lovely vibe and great people!

Horrible, definitely declined in there service I will never go there again in my life, don't have one good thing to say for the two days I was there.
Ladies their spa is even worse, my nails not sure what's worse that I paid so much or that it looks like a child did them. Sure my 6 year old can do a better jobresponse / report this review -

Situated on Benoni lake. Very friendly personnel. Clean an neat hotel. Excellent venue for conferences. Beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful scenery, with the lake literally on your door step. Conveniently located with the Lakes mall about 10 minutes drive away, and the airport approximately 20 minutes away. The rooms are large and all facilities convenient. Lovely, warm and friendly staff top it all. Can't go wrong with The Lakes

A standard hotel and conference centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is very popular as a conference venue as the management takes trouble to accommodate organisers. The rooms are clean and comfortable but unfortunately the majority tend to be noisy as the sound insulation is poor, the rooms with the best views of the lake face a very busy highway, and restaurant guests and wedding parties can be a real nuisance over weekends

Absolutely the crappiest hotel, the staff is rude and unprofessional. The tv channels are not working properly. The breakfast is the worst, queries take time to be solved. I would not recommend this place to anyone. 😠😬ðŸ˜

Highly unprofessional management.
The Lakes advertised for maintenance handyman position's-4 off and urgent.
Emailed my CV with response from Bothwell by email to be interviewed together with the maintenance manager.
My detailed CV states my address in Vaal Triangle,just to be asked in the interview why did I come for the job if it's so far(come on!!),did I waste my time and money for diesel to listen to childish questions??
They also haven't contacted me ever since whether successful or not,after both said I'll definitely be called back due to my experience.
Might it be because I expressed ambition to excel and grow with the firm and not just float around like a oxygen thief!!or are they afraid someone with more integrity and drive could make them stand out like a sore thumb.
Is this the type of treatment potential employees have joining your firm??,then you should have a desperate look at your management!!.response / report this review -

The showers are absolutely useless. One second scalding hot and the next ice cold. Impossible to have a decent shower.

I enjoyed my short stay here. I enjoyed the view of the lake more, especially during sunset. The carpets need to be removed but other than that it's a good place

From the Owners to the staff, very friendly and hospitable. They will go out of their way to make their guests comfortable and happy. Awesome place to stay and to attend a conference.
