Beautiful house in a private and safe area of the city. The place is mannaged by a generous lady. Kind and helpfull staff also. Great value for money.

The first contact we had with the place was a little hostile, the security guards was rude.
However once we got inside the owner greeted us with a warm smile.
Checking info was as easy as could be.
The room which we booked was the family room , first impressions was good.
Nice big bed, with a nice firm mattress.
Bathroom was nice and clean. It had a shower and bath fitting both preferences.
Up keep was a little lacking though, the soap holder in the shower just dropped out of the wall.
There were globe's missing from the light fittings In the bedroom .
Breakfast was included and our order was taken the day before at cheek in.
The food was well prepared although the portions were a little tiny when it came to the meat.
I was given only 1 small slightly over cooked beef sausage.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Should you stay 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, no matter what you must pay full upfront. Don't challenge it, because if you dare want pay 50% upfront and the balance after spending 50% of your stay (which means basically they are always safe), you are going to end up insulted and threatened in front of an owner who doesn't care to see that on a client that stayed several times and brought some more guests even. As he said, there are many other good places in Johannesburg, so I am taking the opportunity to confirm it here. Many places where you will get much more respect and not less comfort.

A very friendly reception and accommodating staff, made last minute booking and requested something to snack on before I went for dinner. Staff made a plan and served biscuits. Good and clean accommodation with a very hot shower, will definitely stay again

Neat and clean rooms and breakfast was good. Requested quiet rooms however ended of getting two rooms that were very noisy. Lots of noise outside sounded like some electric motors and tables and chairs were dragged in the kitchen area before breakfast time (7:00am) and lots of chit-chat. Additional chargers were done for kids however no additional toiletries were supplied and no extra beds were provided. The chargers were not discussed on arrival.

The owner lady is very rude and money minded! Had a horrible experience.
They refuse to accept any feedback which is not good. She's always fighting with her staff who are overworked and underpaid. Within one week, I saw here fire a cook and a threaten to fire a receptionist and it did not feel good to stay there.
