Food served was raw - had the African Caviar, and the bone marrow was still hard and white.
Their potato skins was drenched in oil, so stay away.

Service is non existent, had to get up constantly to go find someone to help.

Overall, don’t waste your money.

Was here a number of years ago, tried it again despite some mediocre reviews below. We were fortunate: excellent service, excellent food, a bit pricy, but worth it. Must add that we were there quite early, so it was easy to serve us.

We received absolutely zero service. They don't have half the beer on their menu, nor any gin. Bad live entertainment. Waited for an hour to try order food, ended up leaving instead.

Overrated!

The new owners/ managers are seriously dropping the great name that Jemima's has built up over the years.

The mussel light meal consisted of 5 tiny mussels, the sole was raw and the duck bone dry! No garnish/ vegetables or anything else was offered with the "consolation" fillet.

Disappointing!

Like the new look in terms of decor. But the mussel "light meal" consisted of only 5 tiny mussels, and the main course sole was raw whilst the duck was bone dry. The ricotta and the consolation fillet was good, though.

Jemima's Restaurant was recommended to us by our Airbnb hosts while we were staying in Oudtshoorn for the night. The food was delicious, the restaurant's atmosphere was wonderful, and our server (Bradlin) was amazing. He had great manners and gave us the perfect wine pairing for our meal. I would highly recommend Jemima's just based off of our interaction with the waitstaff alone.

I will definitely go back if I'm ever in Oudtshoorn again!
