Place looked amazing . I did not have a meal. Just a drink. We waited for my kids who went river rafting. My son did archery and paintball. The rafting was amazing

The Reserve is such a beautiful place, has great atmosphere and is very private. They allow all age groups so families will be easily accommodated. Menus are kids friendly.
I enjoyed my time there. My friends enjoyed their food except me as my food was dry and wasn't given attention when I spoke up about it.
Overall great experience, I will go try it out again hoping for better results with the food.response / report this review -

Staff are friendly and informative. The food selection is more than sufficient and quite varied. The quality of the food served is superior and most definitely tasty! The ambiance is relaxed, making you feel comfortable without feeling rushed. A recommend to anyone in the area, who wants a good meal while enjoying nature.

Very well decorated with lovely grounds. Friendly and efficient staff. Great food and coffee. Plus as a bonus they have a smoking section.

The Reserve Restaurant has improved from our previous visit. Food was excellent and well priced. The atmosphere was relaxed. Excellent play area for the kids. An enjoyable and recommended restaurant.

Disappointing experience. Based on recommendations by friends I brought a group of 23 guests to The Reserve for lunch today. Advance notice of the number was given to the manager the day before. It took 20 minutes to get jugs of water delivered to our table, and then an hour for burgers (on stale buns) and Bunny Chow (on stale bread) and a Prego on a stale bun to be delivered to our table. The pizza and salad were not a problem and were presented nicely and in a reasonable time. I dont get how new establishments dont realise they dont get a 2nd chance to make a good first impression. It is a stunning venue but the food leaves much to be desired. Great menu but many items on it not available, and we were told only after the order had been placed. And to top it all, the manager didnt even have the courtesy to come to our table to explain the delays or to apologise. We wont be rushing back. Very disappointing.

We ordered drnks and were advised after the wine was served that there is no guava and grapefruit to make the cocktail ordered. After this we ordered food just to be advised again that there is a shortage of certain ingredients in one of the dishes ordered. We changed our order and asked for an ice bucket and again we were told that they had no ice for the ice bucket. What a terrible experience at such a nice venue and setting. Not again!!!

Great venue in a beautiful setting. Best coffee I had in 2 weeks. Food is great and good value for money. Will visit as frequent as I visit Hasyview.

Great setting with great potential. Disappointed in the menu variety. Came for breakfast and ended up eating something from the lunch menu which is better value than the breakfast menu. Overall the food was disappointing. Looking forward for the menu to represent the setting.
