If you understand that the location of the hotel is remote, then the property is great. It is a quick 25 minute ride to Kruger Park and it is well maintained. The dinner buffet was very good. The issue will be the shower, which leaks out into the bathroom floor because of the lack of a full curtain/door and the AC was very noisy. The WiFi is only available in the lobby, bars and restaurant areas. But great customer service and great location for Kruger Park.

Great place for a holiday, and very affordable. If you're into architecture, this'll catch your eye. Definitely modern, yet created with little touches that remind you that you're in South Africa. Also, lots of things around to explore, and friendly concierges that are more than happy to give directions and suggestions. My family and I enjoyed our stay, and are recommending this to anyone else from Mozambique.

I remember how nice this place was years ago. Things have certainly changed. Room was run down, as was the dinning room, had a dirty fan over the breakfast table. Food was average at best. Staff were courteous but no sign of management. Stunning views and postion, but I would not stay here again unless Marriott pumped some money in to revamp it.

Offers a homely environment and experience. The view is beyond natural. Nature at its best. Nearby is the Kruger National Park. Staff is friendly from reception to Restaurant.

Kind and pleasant staff, huge (but really huge) rooms, mostly clean and calm for a nice rest. Good bathroom as well. Aged lobby, slowest wi-fi on earth (3 people and it's over) and a more than average restaurant are where the hotel fails a bit. But if you just want to sleep, I guess it is ok. Coaches from Springbok Atlas stop there so you will have noisy groups at the restaurant. Beware that as for the restaurant hires non permanent waiters, you will have to give tip in cash, which is annoying.

The location is good and the gated parking makes it feel safe. The rooms are a bit dated and did not feel completely clean, but if it's late it is a decent place to spend the night.

The hotel buffet was decent, however, it was WAY over priced. I suggest grabbing food elsewhere before stopping for the night.

The gentleman at the front desk was super nice though!

WiFi only worked in the bar area.

This hotel is not central to Hazyview and therefore not walking distance to shops or restaurant. Ideal for self-drive folk. Price might also be a factor, compared to other establishments in the vicinity.

The service is definitely awesome at this somewhat outdated hotel. Staff goes above and beyond to solve your problems, meet your needs and make you happy in general. Meals are quite expensive but it's a buffet which means you can eat whatever portion you want. (165R/ person for breakfast and 185/person for dinner) Beds were confortable but it took forever to get some hot water in the shower.

Rooms seem nice and beds are comfortable. I suggest avoiding the restaurant at all costs. I ordered a steak "medium-well" and it arrived raw. When I ordered dessert, it didn't arrive at all. Considering the price, I expected much better.
