I am so greatful for everyones reviews. I was going to visit Jambo motors on Saturday. But everyone has confirmed my suspicions about this business. They rebuild cars and tell you it was only a minor accident. When I requested to find out more about who fixed the car and what exactly had been fixed I was met with a lot of resistance. I was however assured that it was DEKRA certified. Please people just realise this means nothing. Also looking at the poor gramar and spelling used to respond to some of the complaints I can only wonder Remember people. If something is too good to be true it probably is. 2015 C Class Merc with 40 000 km on the clock selling almost R60 000 below trade. RED LIGHTS!!! I would not do business with this bunch.

Went to them on July 2019, made a deal with the manager about a trade in and then next day they wanted to change itmake sure everything is in writing before leaving! I cancelled everything as I don't trust someone that will go back on his word so easily

I purchased a car though The Glen Car Mart last month - it looked in good shape but has now got many problems. When I took it to a mechanic for a check up they told me it had been in a very big accident and was rebuilt. The manager at the dealership has completely denied this and refused to look at the report or take the car back.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SKELEMS!!

I bought a Renault Clio IV 2015, 900 T Expression in March. When buying the car I was informed of the accident to the car, I was told that the car was involved in an accident that damaged the left side front fender. That was the only information I was told about the accident. I was then told that for any issue with the car I must bring it back to the dealer so that they will fix it. After a week of receiving the car I noticed something wrong with the fuel gauge of the car, it was not functioning properly because at the moment the fuel is half tank then next time it’s empty or full without even using or putting petrol in the car. Due to this I got stuck on the road due to no petrol in the car while it was showing that there is petrol on the car. During this time I called insurance which sent a tow track to assist me, when they arrived as they wanted to connect the tow system to the car they picked up that the tow bar could not go inside the towing whole allocated in the right front bumper of the car as the whole was not aligned with the bumper. Due to this now it means that front side of the car was damaged during the accident and this information was never indicated to me. Once they managed to tow the car and took it back to the dealer, they (Dealer) sent the car for repairs
I also informed the dealer that the Window washer was not working and the alignment of the car was bad. To my surprise the car did pass the DEKRA 101 check as per information I received from the dealer and I am not sure how come that why the alignment was picked up. The dealer had my car for a week for repairs and I was informed that the whole fuel tank of the car was replaced with a new tank and it was causing the problem on the fuel gauge, with this again now it shows something else about the accident information that I was provided. Fuel tank can only be damaged if the car was involved in a accident that involved the fuel tank side, for this car rear left side (Only left side fender was damaged from accident as per information given to me when I bought the car).
2 weeks after I got the car back the same issue of the fuel gauge happened again and this time I decided to take the car to Renault so that they can check what’s causing issues with the car and any other issues that they can see. To my surprise I was informed that the fuel tank on the car was bent and this damaged the fuel sensor, this is very same tank that the dealer told me it was replaced to fix the problem before. On top of this the stop/start unit of the car was removed and this damaged the ECU, engine has had a place where it leaked oil. With all this information I went back to the dealer on Saturday 6 May 2017 and asked them to provide me with the accident report or at least tell me what was fixed on the car due to the accident. They informed me that they don’t have that information as their third party fixed the car. This again now is different to the information I was given when I was buying the car.
I told them that since they don’t have, I want Renault to fix the car and they pay for the work. They informed me that if I take the car to Renault I will pay for it myself as they won’t pay Renault. They said I must leave the car with them they will use their mechanic to check the issue, this is the same people that said they replaced the tank before. I then asked them what will happen after they claim to fix it again and I take the car to Renault to check, the guy reply was I quote “Renault will find the same issues again”. This was a very serious concern now as to why they don’t want the car to be taken to Renault unless they have something to hide. The car Kilometers are still within Renault warranty and this car is not in warranty, a car is taken out of warranty if it was involved in a serious accident that resulted in the car being written off or it was fixed using unauthorized dealer.
They told me we can go the legal route if we want to, as they won’t pay for any work done by Renault on the car.

I've recently purchased a car from the Glen Car Mart. It was advertised as being in good condition and the manager, Zakir Burfat said it had had a minor accident to the rear but was fully restored. On the outside it looked perfect and seemed a good buy. Once I’d driven it for a while it was clear it wasn’t in nearly as good a condition. Long story short, the car had been in a major accident and had been rebuilt - badly. The air-con was not only not working but disconnected, all the airbags had been cut out and the crevice filled with newspaper. The spare tire was un-roadworthy and the tire well was so badly buckled it needs complete replacing. In addition, the front light, which had been installed, had been removed and the battery had been replaced with another which did not fit the bracket in the vehicle. Apart from a tardy response stating that the vehicle was in perfect condition when it left, there has been no response or attempt to rectify the situation; they no not reply to my emails and Zakir is always 'Busy' or 'Away from the showroom' They are clearly as dishonest as they come and I would not recommend them in the slightest. I have signed affidavits and quotes from independent panel beaters as well as Toyota which show the damage and poor repair work that has been done to this vehicle.

Dealership advertised a car at 150k after a few weeks they dropped the price to 140k and when I went for a test drive the sales guy Gugulethu confirmed this. I immediately saw that the car had been in an accident even it it was not a serious one, the back bumper was loose and when this was raised the sales guy was rattled and said that is the reason they are selling the car at such a low price. We then arranged purchase through finance. However they sent the finance amount through to the bank at 150k, when I asked them about it firstly Gugu tried to lie and said maybe I'm confusing cars then the Manager Zakir Hussan got so arrogant that he did not even bother to discuss the matter but rather told me that I am wasting his time he has other deals to do. He is such an arrogant guy and one can only wonder what the post service will be like. They have a good set of cars at good prices but if you look closely at their cars they are smashed and some parts have been replaced. So think twice before purchasing there.
