Whenever I am in the quaint village of Wilderness, I always make a point of having dinner at The Girls. Besides it's odd location behind the filling station, I have nothing to complain about. Okay, maybe the portions have become a bit smaller. Service always is friendly and efficient. The food is good and flavoursome, nicely presented and the fact that I can enjoy some of my favourites year after year is a bonus.

If only all eateries next to a garage (petrol station) were like this A great restaurant and great food. We looked up The Girls Restaurant before leaving the UK and were unsure of the hype. Needn't have bothered, it was wonderful. Great place, warm and welcoming staff, super menu and nice ambiance. Point to note. Recommend the frozen cheesecake for dessert. Go eat go enjoy.

I went with my family on the 23 December 2017.
I wasn’t convinced by the name, nor by the location (behind a dirty petrol station).
What a surprise when we stepped inside, in terms of vibe, atmosphere and set up!!
And the food was amazing! We are Italians, very fussy about food - it was great!
Any of the fish dishes looked and tasted great.
It will be our first stop when we are next in wilderness!
Service also very good and caring.

A hidden gem behind a gas station. Excellent food and service. Visited in February 2017. Fresh Oysters on the half shell, exotic meats, like Kudo and Springbok, great South African wines. Compliments to the chef, awesome food, reasonable priced for the quality. Would go again, highly recommended for the food lover.

Really enjoyed my romantic date with my husband. Enjoyed food and atmosphere. Did have small issue with a staff member forgetting to bring cream for the desert. Owner was present. I like that.

Fish was good. Food was served on cold plates. Had steak myself tasted like the cow was driven over on the N2 somewhere. Terrible.

Great food, exceptional service and friendly staff. Even on a very busy night in peak season, everything was done perfectly. They oysters were really good. The seafood with the soy/chili/ginger sauce is superb. I can strongly recommend this restaurant.
