Good halaal buffet. While the food looks simple it is really tasty. The meat was juicy and tender, the roast potatoes crispy. I'm not usually a buffet fan however the food was good. The cakes for dessert were soft and tasty. Difficult to find on Google maps.

Don t get fooled by theoutdated outside . Rooms are huge with great bed and superb towels comfortable work living room area and amazing view if table mountain across the road from convention center and regular shuttles to the V&A waterfront. Excellent breakfast a d efficient and friendly staff.

Buffet is mediocre. The food is exactly the same as it was 3 years ago. Toilet facilities also needs attention.

Room smells like mold.
Two dining rooms. The one on the ground floor is Halal. Fine.
We are then told that the one on the second floor is closed because it is booked for a private function.
No problem, we will not have wine tonight.
We ask for a coke. There is no coke left. We then order two bottles of still water. The waitress comes back with one 500ml bottle only.
“I am sorry but that’s all we have left!”
Seriously? On a Monday?
That claims to be a 4 stars hotel.

Very old hotel,no upgrades have been done. Everything is just old. The name Capetonian hotel does not suit this so called hotel. This is a motel. Only good thing about it is that it is situated in foreshore very beatiful place with views of table montain and Victoria and Alfred Mall.(waterfront).

Not baby friendly if you going for lunch at the restaurant. No high chairs available and also no nappy changing facilities.

I would honestly give this hotel 0 stars. I stayed there two three nights and two days with my family. Hotel gave us a deluxe room and the size of the room wasn't bad at all. But we found cockroaches in the room - about 6 of them. Then we complained at the reception and they send someone to remove the cockroaches and assigned us another deluxe room on a different floor and guess what? - there were cockroaches there as well. On top of that breakfast menu was ridiculously bad. Hotel staff was good, but again bed bugs and roachers is definitely a no no for any hotel.

Bugs, mold, bad smelly carpet, old air conditioning system, old furniture, even the gallery seem as if it will fall any time. Worst hotel I ever stayed at - period.
