We camped in Bayside Beach House for two nights. The spot we had was surrounded by rock walls that protected us from the crazy wind of Betty's Bay and made us feel in our own little world.

Inside, the facilities are practical and the common area is really nice (big up to the Risk painted on one of the tables). The owner Oli is really nice and his dogs adorable. We enjoyed a really nice walk along the coast to the Stony Point Penguin Colony.

PS: The drive from Cape Town is really beautiful.

Beautiful place, nice decorated and well maintained. The manager is friendly and helpful. There are many nice possibilities for socializing (billiard, tables, couches, common kitchen, terrace with sea view) and even a small camp site that fits 1 or two small tents.

Cool funky hostel with clean rooms and beautiful view of the beach. The shared bathroom could have been a tad cleaner but we've definitely seen much worse. The owner was extremely friendly.

I live up in the mountains at Greyton Ecolodge and love coming to Bayside Backpackers to be near the ocean. Chilled, relaxed friendly vibe.

## One of our best backpacker hotel ever
This place is small (in a highly positive way) and perfect. The staff is awesome, reliable and highly reliable.

# Here a little story to how their awesomeness:
While we where in Swellendam, we had a big problem where we could not sleep at another hostel in Montagu… Remembering the great experience we previously had at their place, we took a chance to call them at 10:30PM to stay at their place by warning them that we might arrive around 1:30AM and pay the day after. And they gladly helped us out with a large smile on their face.

They are highly recommended!!

Awesome little place, the rooms are basic but clean & comfortable - perfect for a place to rest after a long day out exploring the nearby beaches/attractions. The views of the ocean & mountains are breathtaking! We have really enjoyed our stay.
