Had a really good family time theresomething for everyone. Don't expect high-end classy mealsjust straight forward family fun. Then again that was day time during the weekbeen there before on weekends where it was good live music and good beer. Like I said, something for everyone. .. bottom line is it has always been one of my favourite hangouts as a local around the cape and still is. Sit back, chill and enjoy!

Food was delicious. Calamari was cooked well and not tough at all. Service could be better though. Our server forgot some of our table's orders and took quite a while with our drink orders. Otherwise the atmosphere is excellent.

A bit far from home, otherwise I would come here more often.

This is a must do for any visitors to the Cape Town. The food is very reasonable and the fish could have jumped out of the sea onto your plate it's that fresh and tasty. There is a lovely laid back atmosphere . Have a delicious fish lunch sitting right next to the sea and then browse the funky shops in the area or just stroll on the pavement and soak up the Cape Town vibe. It's very popular so book over weekends

I was here once in 2008 and again on our honeymoon 9 years later, and it is still as awesome as it was back then.

This is where you get proper seafood and wine for the best cape experience. The restaurant is right on the sea side and you can walk to one of the pools where the waves often splash over.

The service is good, and on the day they offered a special braai menu on top of the normal one for some excellent food choices.

I would highly recommend stopping here for some breakfast or lunch!

This iconic venue is low key and very casual. Food was ok but not great. Service was awesome despite the restaurant being exceptionally crowded. A fantastic choice of live band (The Rivertones) but the sound quality could have been better. Music was somewhat drowned out by a very noisy crowd.

Beautiful sea views and sea air. Celebrating our anniversary and a birthday. Our table had a various selection of food and all was fantastic. That is oysters, hake & calamari, burger, T-bone & mussels. Fabulous once again☺Always a treat👍

Lovely setting with an amazing view. Ideal to have a few cocktails with friends. Live entertainment also adds to the great atmosphere. Their Seafood is extremely expensive but there are more affordable options such as pizzas or curries.

Wow. What not to say. Awesome views, great venues. Each section different and with it's own vibe. Cabin Bar or Grill Room for the original experience. Food is great, staff are awesome. Try breakfast up on the Oyster Deck - with a beer of course!

Visited on a Monday night. Really cosey upstairs with the fireplace lighting and regular table seating as opposed to the garden benches downstairs. Service was great and food was enjoyed all round. T-bone, burger, pizza & grilled hake and chips. Wouldn't splash out on the ice-cream & chocolate sauce though ;)

Brass Bell caters for any crowd and occasion. I would recommend changing up your seating every time you visit. Summer and winter seating available. Karaoke nights, live music good vibes and wide variety of beer and food 🤙

Most amazing ocean views while you eat. Very friendly staff and great Pizzas. Had my birthday of 40+ people there and was a great ambiance. Relaxed and laid back. They also have awesome bands there

An old classic! Fantastic location right on a tidal pool. The waves come crashing in right around you while you eat. Various rooms on different levels added over the years, some outdoors. It's casual and a bit weather beaten thanks to the brave location, but it's brilliant!! And the food is still top notch.

Food was good value for money. I had hake and calamari and wife calamari platter. My hake juicy and calamari steak strips soft. Chips were crispy. M's calamari tubes and tentacles well cooked and tasty. Service a bit slow. More clearing staff than waiters. All in all a pleasant lunch nice atmosphere. Kids swimming in the tidal pool having fun.

The Brass Bell has hands down some of the friendliest hosts. Absolutely loved my time and the restaurant has amazing views.
I did appreciate the 3 Cheese pizza and the mussels are amazing. I did however find the menu to be a bit overpriced for the quality you get.
