Went and got what we were looking for! The sales personnel were great and helped us find what was right for us. Didn't pressure us or push us. In fact was able to get a loose stone and we will be able to get a ring designed to suit our wishes back home!

My wife and I Viewed a stone together with. A day later my wife went into purchase the stone. Firstly they were not keen on giving us any documentation detailing the value of the stone. The lady whom attended to us seem unwilling to assist my wife. Another gentleman offered to assist my wife and issued her an insurance valuation certificate (which is not what I requested). I have now called the V&A store. I initially ask for the tanzanite certificate and was informed that they do not issue these.Later in the same conversation I am told we only issue certificates for 2ct and above. After having the phone put down on me I recieved a call back from the store stating we can issue you a certificate at an additional cost of R450.
I am shocked and disgusted and the level of customer service I have recieved. The purchase of this stone was suppose to be an enjoyable moment..yet it seems now that we could have done what we this drama.
