Chicken livers not what it used to be. Waited 40 min for main course only to find out it was never given to chef. The manager is a little energize bunny - well done to you for saving the night!!

Fantastic food and service and the guesthouse is very comfy. The Kruger Park is just 9 kilometres away so Tambarina is the ideal base from which to explore the park.

The food is delicious!! Whilst the dishes are being freshly prepared, one enjoys the surrounding Mozambique music and loveliest ambiance. A must visit. Love it 💜💛

We stayed in Marloth Park, Jacques who handled our accommodation said if you go to Komatipoort you must go to Tambarina as they have good seafood. Real Portuguese food. Could not have been a better recommendation. We were craving seafood, excellent prawns ! Had a ton of them, very nice setting, good selection of wines. Thanks for a memorable meal. Would go back to this place as its well run and has good service, bathrooms were clean.

Good restaurant in Komatipoort, my wife had prawns and raved about them, I had a pretty disappointing trinchado made with beef strips instead of rump steak, but the restaurant is nice, staff are excellent and the beers were cold!

Nothing beats perfect food and the level of service that invites you back. Tambarina will beat most upmarket restaurants with their steak preparation as well as seafood dishes. They will certainly see me again
