Excellent accommodation, kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Staff was very friendly. The water pressure is a bit low though, but overall a great stay.
Secluded, clean, and we'll maintained
Consistently rated as the bush sanparks bush camp in the kruger. Has a watering hole where many animals frequent and ground hornbills in the area. Units are very comfortable but the facilities are very basic with little to no cellphone reception
This may be a great place to stay during typical seasons but we visited during a drought and this place was completely barren of wildlife and friendliness. Also, they were working on the wires and it stunk of burnt rubber and the units were running on a generator. When we returned from our sunset drive our lights did not work at all. Very dangerous. The camp should have been closed during these repairs. Also, the lady at check in told us the store was only 10 km down the road so we drove there to grab something for dinner as our reservation papers only said no restaurant and all other camps we stayed at had a little store. However when we began we soon realized it was actually 30. This made us late for our sunset drive. We tried to call but because the wires were being worked on could not get through. Upon arrival the driver proceeded to tell us how angry she was. We said we understood and did not expect her to go past the regular scheduled time for our tardiness. She said we should have researched ourselves how far the store was (which we would have if the employee at check in had said she didn't know) So, she drove us but did not stop to tell us anything about the landscape or areas and as I said it was barren of wildlife. When my husband thought he saw a bush baby she said it's probably just an impala and drove on. Our daughters (9 and 11) fell asleep it was so boring. This was such a disappointing end to our stay in Kruger Park. It was the most expensive location we stayed and most dismal. I recommend Ber-gen-dal or Lower Sabie. We loved both of these. Crocodile Bridge was ok as well. Avoid Talamati at all cost!!!!
Lovely award winning camp. Great game viewing. Staff very helpful. Will be back!
Nice quiet camp with lots of bird life and busy waterhole. Well serviced, clean, staff were friendly and we could watch the SA World Cup match in the staff quarters. Watch out for the monkeys!
Best Bush Camp in the Kruger Park. Wins anual award regularly
