  Controlled entrance. Very neat resort. Very responsible residents. Convenient slipway for launching motorboats. Unpoluted river water with no litter to be seen. The Modder River runs from east to west which implies that the water as the focus holds always a clear view and no sunset is in your eyes.

  Great place, house is very neat and tidy. The boats and jet ski's can become a bit overwhelming, especially if your looking for some piece and quite, but there is nothing that can be done about it so we enjoy it still. The view is gorgeous and the place is very well furnished. Great job. Will definitely want to come back.

  Went out for the day with friends and family. Nice pool with waterslide for kids. Also nice lawn with jungle gyms and animal statues to entertain kids. Good braai facilities. Reasonable amount of shade but bring your own gazebo. Ablution facilities so so. Fishing sucked. Small dam was so filled with grass that fishing was a waste of time. Can't comment on fishing in bigger dam or river, but those areas are quite a distance from aforementioned pool and junglegyms. Aside from the overgrown dam the only other gripe I could have is to say that the lady handling the bookings and running the small shop is about as welcoming and friendly as a tax collector.

  Bad experiencedidnt even get to see the place.U need to call and make an appointment to view and make bookingsSurprisingly enough I sent email before making a personal enquiry but no response. Security and assisgned person at the shop which is actually thee reception had different information. Told they are closed on weekendsbut it is resort.😏

  Very nice place to visit but please please consider allowing dayvisitors to bring their dogs at a certain rate. Visitors must then keep dogs in yards and on leash when outside yards. The doggies is our kids and there is almost none dog friendly places in or close by Bloem.
