  My favourite camp in Kruger National Park. situated way up north, this camp is the hidden jewel of the Kruger. Excellent game viewing and a birder's paradise. Pack coffee and rusks and spend an hour or two along the S50 river road, or do a day trip up to Pafuri and Crook's Corner.

  A dusty camp offering accommodation in the older style Rondawels, the newer self catering chalets or camping in a large sandy patch. Usual Park Shop, Total petrol station. The day visitors area is close to the main reception, shop and restaurant and gets noisy if many people visit. The swimming pool was welcome in the dry heat ?

  Public facilities poorly managed and dirty, especially bathrooms on the reception area. Camping area is a dust-bowl. This once nice camp is now below par.

  Wonderful camp with everything you might need to be comfortable. Friendly staff and a good amount of privacy for every chalet,hut or tent. Fences are a bit run down though and makes me doubt safety. All in all a very good place though.

  Absolutely love the fact that one drives along the river to get to Shingwedzi camp. It is a beautiful camp and the newly updated pool area is stunning! Especially for this extreme day temperatures. Lots of game, and fun off road drives.

  Of all the camps, this was our favourite! The night visitors - Honey Badger and Gennet were so exciting. The swimming pool offered a wonderful relief in the very hot temperatures. Lovely clean and well maintained ablutions. A solid ground sheet is a must as there is no grass. Lots to do and see in and around the camp.
