Exceptional!
Love the ambience and live perfomances. The food was grear too, good experience.
I would suggest that they get those gas heaters for winter though it was freezing the only reason we left early.

Perfect spot for company functions. The place looks exactly like an authentic South African shebeen. Drinks are just what you expect. They sell certain beers and ciders by the quart. Definitely a great place to have a good time with friends.

Great place for a couple of drinks and awesome authentic South African food.
Really inexpensive. Unfortunately we went on a Sunday night. So it was a bit quiet. Will be sure to visit on a Friday or Saturday night when we in the area again

Shebeen is a pub that is located normally in an informal settlement. You can experience the look and feel in safety while enjoying your 660ml beer.
They use to offer traditional African food like WALKIE Talkies (chicken feet) etc but now seems offer more traditional western food which is a shame.

Dont bother going during daytime for lunch. Food menue now only consist of 5 items. Looks luke the shabeen is basically now become a bar to drink at night. No longer traditional food and braaai
