We enjoyed our overnight stay on the Tooth and Claw experience, however, don't think the overnight added anything to the stay. Our ranger was a little too cool for school and seemed to be out matched by the other rangers both in finding game and just as importantly mixing with the guests on the tour. Much of the game drive seemed a little bit like we were driving around in a zoo with the habitats a little artificial. I think this is not something specific to this Safari park but probably more generally an issue where they ram the big-5 in front of tourists to tick off their bucket lists (they did not have Leopard and the Lion seriously was looking drugged). That said, it was nice to see the animals and the operation was professional albeit a little routine. We enjoyed our time in Addo Elephant Park more despite not seeing so many big hitters because they were in more natural habitats.

A truly amazing experience! I can't say enough about the expertise of our guide, Scott. He gave us a true understanding of Africa's animals, landscape, and people. I highly recommend it.

amazing experience, we spend one night in a tend and was incredible how close you can ear the nature all around you. We saw a lot of animals (eater if was a bit cloudy and rainy) and very close to us, including lions, giraffe, hippos, elephants and much, much more. Our guide Ryan was really nice and he answered very completely to all our questions. I didn't have any other game in this area but we really had a lot of fun. I totally recommend it.

Very nice experience. Enjoyed the full day tour. Scott doing a perfect job and he avoid to follow other jeeps. Most time driving alone and saw animals before others came.

What an experience we went on the foot and claw night drive twice and they never dissapoint we have seen lots of wildlife can recommend..

We had a very nice guide, called Nicki, who was joking with us very much. He told us many many very interesting facts about the animals. He asked, what we want to see. He was great!!! What a day! At night we had dinner in the middle of the park. While he was bringing us back to our B&B, we saw the nights active animals.

A great way to see to see wildlife up close. Our driver guide knew a lot about the plants and animals which was enjoyable. We found out that they go to school to be these types of guides. Cool. The dinner is nothing to write home about, but they do try to make it fun. I would recommend it.

Schotia is a very special private Game park. It will give you an up close experience with, Elephants, Lions, Giraffe, Buffalo, Hartebees, Impala, Nyala, Blesbok and the list goes on. The guides are very knowledgable and our Guide Carl clearly had an love for the animals that he tends to everyday nd they seem to recognize him and interact with him playfully. The safari is a good length with a tea break in the old dairy and it ends with a fabulous South African dinner in the Lapa and a short night game drive . Highly recommended.

We booked a full-day tour with Schotia Safaris: The first half day was dedicated to the Addo Elephant Park, the 2nd half we spent in the private Schotia Game Reserve directly adjacent to Addo. It was a fantastic experience as we could observe lots of elephants, buffalos, antilopes, warthogs, in Addo and could complete our "collection" with all remainders in the Schotia Area.
Scott our ranger was a brilliant guide: He has near to 20 years of experience in the parks, is extremely knowledgeable concerning fauna & flora, eco-system and whatever you might ask him, a great teacher and communicator with good humor. A great barbecue perfected this full-day safari, which such rapidly went by filled with a trillion of impressions.
Our recommendation: Book with Schotia a full day tour - it is definitively worth the money and if you are lucky you might go with Scott !

We had an absolutely awesome time in Schotia. Our Ranger Edward was great and created a unique experience that we will never forget. Definitely recommended! And worth the price.
