Poor customer service from management. Selective preference in customers being served. Lovely garden and good menu

This is a lovely treasure in the middle of town. It's like a secret garden getaway! They had healthy food options and everything tasted so fresh and vibrant. Gentleman, if you want some romance points bring your lady here.
Positives: The garden is beautiful, making a relaxing spot to eat. The shop is also adorable, if your into the used books, trinkets, and hand made lotions/soaps.
    Negatives: A bit pricey.
    Interesting: They have homemade kombucha!

This is a real hidden gem! Beautiful sculpted gardens and lovely English tea cups and other items for sale! Their menu is delicious and and the staff are very friendly and attentive. This is our go to place before and after work!

Rosehurst nestled in the very Heart of Pietermaritzburg is the most extraordinary and exhilarating find, if you've never been there before. The food, cakes, coffee or whatever you desire is prepared fresh for the day and is of the highest standard, I have never been disappointed in the two decades I have been going there. Candi the owner is fastidious in keeping the old World charm alive and she does that was such grace and elegance. The garden is a treasure of little hidey holes of amazing Eclectic items from bygone eras there is a crystal and porcelain room that is crammed to the ceiling with amazing treasures for your home or for special friends. Take a friend, take it book, buy a book or two but take yourself and just do Rosehurst.

I love the setting. The garden is charming but I am not that impressed with the menu or the quality of the food. I enjoy the shop.

Cosy lil place with a beautiful garden. Able to walk around and enjoy the flowers. The food is amazing, love the combination of foods. Not your typical menu. Wish they had cocktails too. Love the vintage touches. Books, clothes and crafts. Great for hippies

Beautiful town garden setting with antiques, second hand book shop, chocolatier, glass beads and eclectic funky tea garden. Definitely worth returning to again and again.

A paradise in the middle of the city. Unusual but amazing food combinations that change weekly, well worth a visit.
