I really love visiting Terbedore Coffee Roasters. No official coffee tasting is available, but I enjoy working my way through what is on offer while washing it down with their excellent cuisine. In a quiet time the barrista on duty have me a tour of his various machines and a quick tutorial on how to make an exceptional coffee. The shop attached is good value and it is worth taking a bit of coffee or similar home with you.

Always worth the trip from Durban. Beautiful surroundings with clean, fresh environment. Coffee is excellent. Food is awesome! Owners and staff are warm and welcoming. Prices are fair. A must try both in Summer and Winter 🤗

Unsure why our experience was so unpleasant compared to other patrons.
The venue is rated as child friendly. But the dogs are not used to small children and I had a very unfriendly encounter with owner/manager as a result. It doesn't hurt to be pleasant in your interactions with patrons who are paying to use your facility.
The food was underwhelming. My french toast ciabatta was dry and hubby's traditional breakfast was very 'economical' considering the price paid.
Service was very poor. My husband had to ask for the bill twice and eventually go inside to pay because nobody returned with a bill.

Lovely place situated just off the N3 towards Durban. Good food, great coffee. The chicken pie and mini sliders were fantastic! Easy going atmosphere where the dogs are even more friendly than the staff! 😁

My boyfriend and I recently had a weekend away in the Midlands and were told that Terbodore Coffee Roasters is a definite place to visit. We popped in for breakfast on the Saturday and loved every minute from the moment we walked down the path. The food and coffee were both sensational and the ambiance is so welcoming, including the dogs that wander around the gardens. We will definitely be visiting here again and would recommend everyone to put this place on their bucket list and give it a visit.

We were so excited to go to Terbodore, but we walked in at a time when they were fully booked. It would've been fine if the manager was apologetic for not having space and was friendly, but it was not the case. Her tone of voice just made us feel unwelcome. We still bought some products though, but she was so absent minded and busy with everything around her. I am sure one could have a good experience here, but ours was not a good one. No customer focus. They are more focused on running the business and raking in the cash.

This restaurant offers great food and has a fantastic atmosphere. Sit inside or in the garden and enjoy a wonderful relaxing time with friends or even if you go alone.
They offer great coffee here, straight from their range of inhouse roasted coffees and make sure to purchase a bag or two of those precious beans to take home with you!
Their prices are very reasonable and definitely offers value for your money.
Don't miss this place next time you visit the Howick area. But take note that you have to book in advance, especially on busy weekends like the one hosting the Midmar Mile.response / report this review -

Most amazing coffee I've ever had in my life! The perfect South African roast brewed right here! Friendly staff and the loving Great Dane on the premises is a unique touch. Take an hour of your day and visit this secluded place in the country side, its more than worth it
