Expensive. Terrible cigarette odour. Basin in bathroom's plug does not open. Host very friendly and I felt safe.

Nice place but while taking a saterday afternoon nap after a long mrb event loud music is played while owner gets someone to repair his bars audio system. Not very professional at all.

The owner is very welcoming and helpful, my room was okay. Just outside needs more cleaning especially around the pool side otherwise it's a beautiful place to unwind.

What a lovely stay !!! honestly could not have asked for better accommodation ! Roland, Suzanne, their daughter , the cleaning staff and the dogs were so welcoming and made every moment ever so special. Such a caring and safe environment, with a touch of mother nature on your doorstep ♡ I would definitely feel blessed to stay at Roland's again as I could see great pride is taken in running the guest house.
Thank you again for the fantastic stay.

I booked two rooms toward the end of February 2016. One for my husband, myself and our 1 year old daughter, and the other for my Mother and Father. The rooms were spacious but an upgrade was about 10 years overdue and in need of a spring clean. The pillows on the bed was flat. I found a dirty tissue behind a couch in our room. There was no hand soap in the bathroom and when asking, Suzanne purely said that she never puts soap out for guests. The previous guests' travel sized shampoo was still in the shower. The curtain / blind rail hanging loose with screws missing, which meant I could not fully open the blinds. The dogs (border collies) were constantly in our way and barking, and they marked their territory against the wall right outside our bedroom. The garden area was also soiled with the dogs' waste, so much so, that I didn't want to go for a stroll with my daughter. Our quoted rate included bed and breakfast, but upon inquiring, my mother was told that breakfast would be extra, so we were served coffee on the Sunday morning, and biscuits which Suzanne got as a gift from overseas. After we checked out, I emailed Roland and asked him for the refund of our "breakfast" portion of what I had paid, and he blissfully ignored me.
I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, ever.

Honestly, the most incredible place to stay.
Nice and quiet, peaceful and relaxing, everything you could possibly ask for a small weekend away!
I will most certainly be returning in the near future!

Thank you so much for the best service!!
