One of the best pnp!Good meat section, bakery is the best from all the shops I ever wisited.I'm driving all the way there for their cakes and pastries. Long working hours,very convinient.

Always my favourite Pick 'n Pay. I am in there at least 3 times a week and the service is consistent, with great staff.

Really great Pick n Pay. Always helpful. Prices reasonable. You can always find someone to assist if you can't find something. Products varied and quality good. Shelves always stocked. If they don't have something, they will go and find it or order it.

I have always maintained that this is one of the best pick n pays in JHB. It could be that I am biased because it is my local supermarket, but to me the layout makes sense and it is always well stocked.
Recently though, it feels like it is over stocked. On a mildly busy Saturday there is just no space. You have to continually avoid people refilling selves. It makes the shoppIng experience unpleasant.
So while it is a good shop, try avoid days that have operators stocking shelves, try avoid busy times and days. If not prepare to be irritated.response / report this review -

Staff and management are always friendly. Will always assist if there are items not stocked by the branch, ie. SACLA products, and Knorr stock items.

Clean, tidy, friendly staff and great service. The bakery is amazing. Love the cakes and ciabatta breads from Douglasdale Pick n Pay.

Best family owned Pick and Pay in the country. Clean, super friendly staff, hands on management AND the best deli section ever! So reasonable for incredible tasty food!

Pick not Pay Douglasdale what a joke! Substandard rolls selling at double the price of any Spar and half the quality I have approached management about it and they have done absolutely nothing I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN

I enjoyed my shopping at this store. Their fresh vegetables was packed fresh and a good selection was on offer. The store was clean and inviting to pack your trolley roti the brim
