The venue is stunning and is definitely worth 5 stars. Sitting outside in the beer garden on a summer's day is glorious. Their food is good but, at the price, not fabulous. The staff is friendly although one of our party had to remind our waitron about his drinks order.

A Southern Suburbs institution with great outside space and a wide drinks selection. Shared some quite tasty starter plates of calamari and beef tataki. Well worth a drop in if you're catching up with friends. Opt for an outside table if you can, inside bar area is slightly clinical and gets busy.

A great place to meet friends for a drink after work. The bar area has been changed so one part is a Gin bar, so it's a must for gin lovers, so many types to try. Lovely outside garden. Had various meals there, always a success.

Lovely food and great atmosphere. It is also really pretty and well laid out as well as clean. The food is expensive though and the waiter was a little unusual however I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Not what it used to be. Staff are friendly and the food is good, but the venue doesn't seem to know if it is a bar or a cocktail lounge or a restaurant.

They serve Stella Artois on tap. Recently refurbished restaurant. Outside area. Sometimes tap beers isn't freshest though.

We really like to hang out here. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and the food is very good. They have a varied selection. Great steaks and burgers, and they have over seventy types of gin on sale. The back garden in my opinion is the best place to hang out and relax with your friends under the trees but it seems that a lot of the locals enjoy the inside bar as well. Television screens show sports games.

Really stepping up after the renovations. Inside is more open and vibey and no longer cramped and smokey (from fire). Lots of friendly staff and service is speedy.

I've known this place for over 30 years from when it was a farm stall. it has beautiful gardens for dining in summer and a lovely indoor fire for winter. the menu is always changing (seasonal) but old favourites are still there. I can recommend the steak. the clientele is nice too and it's kid and dog friendly

Food is good, service sometimes a bit slow. I just find all the different restaurants on one premises confusing.

Upmarket restaurant, aimed more at the beverage side (huge selection of beers, gin and tonic and other premium liquor) but they serve a great milkshake (with brownies and chocolate). We had light tacos and a cheese plate and also no complaints. Great friendly service, our waitress was more than happy to advise on the best drinks and meal options when we were unsure.

One of the best meals in Cape Town. Service was outstanding (Gillian) with a great atmosphere. Spacious dinning in Bold with a choice of two other restaurants adjoined. All of our meals where spectacular. The Salmon is a must.

Good restaurant with various menu's.They have a great chef and good waiters who's always willing to go the extra mile in order to meet the needs of the customers. If you are into Italian food this is a good place to check out. Aside from fresh produce they also offer a wide range of specialty craft beers. Most of the menu items are high priced but then again from a chefs stand point you cant put a price tag on quality.
