This bb has pleasant staff and were very accommodating to our late check in. The rooms are spacious and comfortable self catering units. They do offer breakfast for and extra fee. It is.on a busy road so is a little noisy at times. The.parking was safe and thw premises secure. The rates are very reasonable.

Booked a stay there some years ago but had a bad experience with no hot water. Place was pretty enough and clean, but after a long day of travelling really looked forward to at least some hot water. Wanted to go there again now but based on some other reviews I am afraid. Really wish this business will be successful but then it seems attention will have to be given to some small issues. I wish you all of the best.

I don't mean to be biased, but I think Oregon Cottage should get a properly qualified person to do their telephonic reservations, had a dissatisfying experience in making a booking for my company's technician today. I clearly understand why guests get their reservation bookings messed up,and end up unsatisfied. Ficksburg is a beautiful town (I visited many years back) and untrained staff leads to loss of great business opportunities.

Wow..the place is beautiful and great.Their rooms are the best.You have almost anything you will need.You always feel home with their hospitality.The only thing I believe they need to sort out is their TV setsthey are old and sometimes the remote controls are not working.I love this place more than any place in Ficksburg.

Did not enjoy my stay that much. The only positive thing were that they had electric blankets and it was very cold. Was booked for 3 nights, but decided to leave after 1, because there were a mixup if breakfast was included, which I understood was included, but was dissapointed when I got told it wasn't the next morning.
