  A stunning, comfortable, reasonably priced boutique hotel and restaurant owned and run by one of South Africa's top chefs. What more could one ask for?

  Quaint but we missed experiencing Kate's cooking as she was away. Tip Take your own bottled water and fresh milk for your room. Breakfast was passable.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Joyce was very accommodating in the absence of Kaye. We had a divine cup of coffee on arrival and Joyce came in especially early even though we told her not to just to cook us breakfast and boy it was great! We will definitely come back again. Thank you for welcoming us and our puppy like family.

  Great antique and Victorian feel to the place. The rooms were slightly small but the breakfasts were really awesome. Amazing garden with a pond full of fish 🐠.

  Kay is rather rude. She got a bit uppity and dropped the phone on me twice when I wanted to come check out her guesthouse before making a booking. The place's "reputation might speak for itself", but she doesn't know my circumstances and why I'd want to see the place first.

  Kaye is such a wonderful lady! I was very impressed with her friendly, helpful and hard-working nature. Her guest house is also very welcoming. I loved my stay there. I recommend her to everyone staying in that area - you wont be disappointed!
