What a beautiful piece of heavan!! Could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding, the weather was a little cold but everyone was super warm and welcoming not mention the amazing food. Best, most beautiful place ever

A romantic breakaway destination! Great for weddings and conferences. Staff are attentive and friendly. Beautiful surrounds and buildings with secret elevated areas with gorgeous views of the surrounds and horses. Loved the horses. Attended a wonderful wedding and enjoyed the excellent food and peaceful ambiance.

Beautiful place with very awesome and down to earth people. If you are looking for a nice relaxing time away from the city this is definitely a place to consider. It is a tranquil place where you can gather ypur thoughts and recharge. You can also do some horse riding there as well.

We were there for a wedding. The running of the horses: I cannot explain it. It was breathtaking. If you want to touch the horses you are free to do so, because they come back and eat next to the buildings. The venue for the wedding was naturally beautiful and so was the restaurant.

This is one of the most spectacular places we have visited over the last two years in South Africa. The views from the lodge are breathtaking. The hiking experience among extremely well kept game cannot be better. Check out the Waterkloof hike with it's waterfall. It is a bit of a climb to get there, but everyone who can shop in a mall for a few hours can do this hike. The food by the resident chef is among the best in the region. Ask management about their conservation efforts, and you will be surprised how after years of agricultural activity in the valley, the grasslands and marshlands have been restored. This is conservation at its best, focusing on people, nature and financial sustainability. If you are into horseback riding, this is also the place to be. Overall, a top notch destination.

We were put in a Hut at Waterfall during the 4 Peaks Mountain Run Race. Now I suppose they thought they were doing us a favour giving us the servants quarters behind the main house. We've never been there but the website says 5 Star Lodge . so obviously there should nothing be to worried about - WRONG - it was really terrible. They said it was self catering -WRONG AGAIN - no kettle, no microwave, no fridge. Luckily the guests in the main house were kind enough to assist us. It was me, my wife and 3 year old daughter in an extremely cramped 2m diameter rondawel. Now at 5 Star Prices - R400 rand per person per night (2 nights) - not serviced, this seems rediculous and a rip-off. This place left a sour taste in my mouth and if it was not for the beautiful scenery and well presented event by the organisers of the event,, it would have been unbearable. Lastly, dont believe the free WiFi they advertise - there's NO WIFI and the food, altough quite good is extremely expensive. Its a pity I cannot post photos here?
