The visit to the Orange Restaurant was altogether excellent. I visited with my wife for our anniversary, and everything was of excellent standard. The setting was beautiful. The food was first class!! I will definitely be returning in the future. Costs of meals are higher than typical family restaurants, but still reasonable for the standard of the place. I highly recommend it.

This is our second coming with me and my wife, and we absolutely LOVE this place! The service is wonderful, and the staff is not only friendly, but they are personable and enjoy conversation with their patrons. The Chocolate Block is an excellent red blend selection; the fillet hollandaise is hearty, and the pork belly is just what the (American) doctor ordered!! We’re defiitely making this place a regular visit.

The service was good; the food was dismal. Our starters were ostrich carpaccio and beetroot medallions. Carpaccio was good, however the medallions were very out there: the beetroot was shaved completely raw and served with a berry vinaigrette sauce. For mains my wife asked for a gnocchi with cheese sauce, fresh peas and pesto.The sauce reminded us of university res food. It was very bland and flour-tasting. I ordered the pork belly with grilled veg and couscous. It was very, very sweet. For those kind of prices we would expect consistent quality. The wine was good; however, not made there! Based on our experience, we will not be recommending Orange, I'm afraid.

Service was superb and food was good with a nice variety for meats from pork to kudu to salmon.
I just thought the kudu fillet I had was under spiced but the ingredients were top notch.
When there is a big table the tables around it feel cramped.
Inside there is a lovely fireplace.
I would recommend you ask for a window seat.
Overall a beautiful place to dine at with a great view of the city with lovely food.

We were told about this restaurant from our accommodation in Marloth Park. On our way home overseas decided to stay in Nelspruit for 1 night and to treat ourselves to a fancy meal. Food was great, good service. A bit pricey but overall worth what we paid.
Bathrooms were spotless. Next time would try to reserve a table outside to capture the impressive views.

Best restaurant I have ever been to at a reasonable price. We made reservation on same day and had one of the best tables in thw restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is divine. They even give you a sorbet to clear the flavor in your mouth and hot towels for the hands. The price difference between the restaurant and commercial restaurant at the mall is very small. Strongly recommend!!!!!
