  Very good place, you will not be disappointed. The setting in nature is fantastic, but the location could be closer to amenities. Reception and responsiveness to calls was an issue, but I believe it has been dealt with.

  We stayed there this past weekend and checked out two hours after ariving. The house wasn’t clean. There were large ants in the house. The WIFI did not work, so watching a family movie was not an option. They said the WIFI would be repaired in 20 minutes and later said they would send someone but they never did. We have stayed in other guest houses around South Africa and there was always a staff member on hand to respond to questions. In the evening the only person who was available was by phone. In the evening, if you don’t bring food, there is a meal delivery service but they weren’t operating because they were at capacity. La Roca is horrible and the opposite of luxury. The mountain view is very nice.

  This guest house is worth the visit just for the view from the breakfast spot. Great friendly service and rooms. Secure parking.

  Good guest house to stay at, the staff are down to earth and the rooms are great. Pricing is good for what you get. Parking is very small and awkwardly laid out. Overall I recommend this guest house.

  Very friendly staff and reception.
  Room is lavishly equipped, with WiFi, safe, coffee etc., DSTV and is in a sparkling condition.
  Property is very clean, spacious and tree rich.
  Quiet neighborhood.
