One of, if not the best camp I have stayed in, in Kruger National Park.
Cycling and walking activities are offered here which gives you an opportunity to stretch your legs. Perched on the hillside the view of the Olifants River is lovely.

Olifants camp.The one with a million dollar view. Guests that visit Olifants will be exposed to an unforgettable window of Africa.

The camp is situated a top a hill which towers several hundred feet over the Olifants river. Views from the lookout platforms allow one to see the river below, just as a soaring eagle would survey it, as it hunts from the skies.

One of the best camps in the Kruger National Park. Great views. Helpful staff. No camping facilities. Keep all food locked away - as with everywhere in the park, baboons and monkeys are a problem and will steal your lunch!

Stunning location, watching elephants in the river from restaurant. Food lacking but location makes it hard to beat. Highly recommend the river walk and bush walk. Be at restaurant at dusk to watch bats from roof exit for the night.

Olifants has wonderful panoramic views from the huts especially with river views looking over the bushveld can see for 'miles'. Can watch the various raptors flying past. We loved the river walk with John very knowledgeable and Patrick who pointed out interesting natural information. Recommend the short walk getting close to one of the great rivers and trees. Animals .🐾💧🐾🐸

Listening to cleaning ladies conversations spoils the early morning when you want to listen to nature. Reception could be more friendly. Accommodation adequate

The view from high over the Olifants River is the redeeming feature of this camp. Rondawels are in rows so you don't get a feeling of being secluded or in the bush. The small pool is good to cool off! The Mugg&Bean had closed and meals are available in the Tindlovu Rustic kitchen, with great river views. The usual Park Shop is well stocked at competitive prices. A problem is the smell of bat dung from the bats nesting in the thatch at the shop/restaurant building. They can be seen streaming out at sunset - nice spectacle but bad odour ( was mentioned in a previous review too :-(

Poor. Decline in standards. Basic Repair, maintenance, cleaning does not exist. Stained dirty baths, dusty spiderwebs hanging from walls and ceilings. What a disappointment to see the neglect.

The view is STUNNING! Had a scrumptious dinner (we heard lions!) and breakfast at the restaurant. Loved the design of our cottage.

Feb 2017. We called in for refreshments as part of our day-long safari. The view from the camp high on cliffs over the Olifants River is spectacular and we saw elephants making the tricky river crossing just days after a cyclone flooded the area. The Mug & Bean cafe was a real letdown - poor indifferent service. Other facilities seemed good. Can only give it 3* based on what we experienced. But I would love to stay there.

All in all it was a bit run down. Could use some renovation. Windows didn't close properly. Our Bungalow smelt pretty disgusting
The view was nice but sadly somewhat blocked by an electric fence.
The place just felt like it has seen better times.

Very nice rest camp. like most of the other camps it can be difficult to charge your equipment with the AC connected (you're stuck with an outlet for shavers).
But don't let that trick you. The camp is located on a hill and you have a fantastic view of the surroundings. Restaurant has reasonably priced meals, stuff is somewhat slow at times.
Still don't regret a single day I spent there.
