Food wasn't bad, but service quality was very bad. I am not sure that this was the waitron's fault. Everything was just below par. Our first drinks order was not met in 20 minutes, and we waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes for our meal. I have visited many Ocean Basket's and this one was just far below what I am used to.

20 minutes after arrival no waiter or bread or offered any sort of service, even though we called to ask questions about the food. The hostess apologized and said she sent someone who was busy with big tables. A different waiter served us. He brought drinks quickly. We ordered sushi and a platter. 20mins after ordering the food we were told the rice was off, the sushi will take another 30 mins to make fresh rice and prep. By now I was frustrated and then asked where the bread was to ease our hunger after already waiting for 40mins. He said they were out of bread. My husband asked me to repeat what the waiter said and he rudely left our table and assisted his colleague with plates to escape the situation. He didn't return and were left confused and upset. We got up, explained everything to the hostess and she apologized that her staff are usually terrible on Christmas Day because of partying the night before I've never experienced such terrible service in my life!

Very quiet,my wife and I were the only two with another couple at the restaurant . The food was not that great, my wife ordered a Sprite and got a Coke. We ordered a platter for two and Only got one piece of fish. We’ve definitely had better at other ocean baskets

The service was a little slow, the sushi was average and the wasabi seemed old and powdery. The prawn and mussel combo was alright, but nothing to write home about.
