A market with local products, non-pretentious, built under a bridge : there is no better way of reclaiming neglected and underutilized spaces in Cape Town, with direct benefit to locals! Food is made with heart and smiles, and every trader has his story. Definitely a must for those interested in authenticity, and another vision of Cape Town far from postcards and closer to communities.
I was very surprized when I walked on. Such a cozy place where you"d least expect it. Worth a visit
It is a very small and new local market that is still developing. Located underneath a bridge next to the train station. It has a salon and small restaurants that sell local delicacies, e.g. vetkoek and mince and fish and chips. There is also a coffee shop.
Very quaint little market found under the bridge.
Great place to find local things..
Few interesting things on sale there, but not much
