Called to order a cake for the 22/02/2018 for my mum who is currently in hospital. Instead of taking my order I received a telephone bashing from Catherine. Pathetic, putrid, its a shame forgot about all the pass orders we placed. If your'll are incompetent with previous orders don't put the blame on the client. Yet the client had the feedback on email. Live up to the name of Oven Delights and not monetary values. If this is the way clients are going to be treated then I would leave it to the hands of GOD.

Absolutely disgusting service & no assistance or respect for the customer at all Forget my contribution to supporting your business any longer. I'll do my shopping for baked goods elswhere. What a shame.

The last time i stopped there, i literally saw baby cockroaches crawling over their fresh cream donuts and cakes-like 5 all at once! Showed the lady behind the counter who very quickly removed the entire tray to the back..probably removed the roaches and brought it back when i was gone. Later called the store to tell the manager about it since he wasn't there when i asked for him. On the telephone, he appeared shocked that it even happened and said he never heard anyone complain of this before-as if i was wrong-wasn't apologetic saying they grateful we bringing the matter to them and will take care of it! I always got our bday cakes from them until they started cutting corners with the fresh cream quantities they used. The middle of the cakes filling was barely noticable and i brought it to the owners attention. He was once again in denial using the same old story about how no-one else ever complained.however i still went ahead and ordered again but requested extra cream for the filling to avoid disappointment and paid for the extra cream. After cutting into the cake i found that they didn't add the extra cream which i had paid extra for and requested. That was my final straw. My last call to the owner was an absolute waste..again he seemed surprised and hadn't even apologized as with my other complains previously to him. He keeps using the fact that people are always buying their cakes and are not complaining! That utter bull from him clearly shows that he's a cover-up and doesn't care if some customers have a bad experience cos he knows he's still getting enough business to ever worry about the one's that arn't happy! Over the years i have always bought my cakes from therebut never again!!! Funny thing is i always recommended them to all! They've changed for the worse in all my last 3 experiences. I donot recommend this branch..rather go to the Oven delights in Chatsworth centre or the other Chatsworth branch-they are much nicer and neater and always ready to offer good service unlike that crookish, arrogant-like owner of The Sunset avenue branch! I was forced to give them a star in order for me to post this.
