Beautiful natural shaded picnic spot with playground for children and stream to paddle in. A good base for walks along the edge of, and down into, the gorge to waterfalls, and birdwatching.

Generally a quieter picnic site with good break areas, toilets and lots of space for children to play. Locals use the site as a thouroughfare but generally this does not interfere with the sites activities.

Great little picnic area for the family with waterfall right nearby. This connects to the Yellow and Red trails of Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The yellow is for those who have time and want a challenge. The red takes you to 2 very scenic and serine waterfalls, both of which are challenging to get to for the average person.
